From the reception to selecting fresh live seafood to the services at the desk, it turned out a most perfect encounter. Alex was most beneficial to advise on the very best offers and assisted in making certain the very best seafood were chosen fromtheir tanks. It had been supper outing and we were happy to go to Eco Farm for supper. Will recommend friends going to KK to dine at Eco Farm. We'd the humphead wrasse steamed also it was delightful. The seafood was so properly steamed to your liking that it amazed both we. The new steamed prawns; clams fried in springtime onions with ginger; flower crabs, horn shells (gong gong); kangkong; crab meats fried rice, etc had been all perfectly prepared. Seated simply by the elevated platform over lapping water, it had been really fantastic.

It had been my first dinner stop by at this eating place for my wife's birthday celebration. When I enter this cafe, the aura and passionate location captivated my center. With regards to select the meals, the choices and recommendations given were appropriate and viewing the freshseafood and veggies served within minutes after ordering is actually fantastic. The ordered meals were prepared needlessly to say to the tastebuds and associated with small waves lapping below our raised system. I skipped the sunset but also for sure I'll move again. The massive fan above us kept us in an awesome breeze complementing the natural breeze from the ocean in the front and below.

We'd dinner here with relatives and buddies and thoroughly enjoyed the meals and experience. The cafe is out in the business, so dining there places you in a peaceful natural setting at the advantage of an estuary with sunlight shining on the drinking water. They feature fresh seafood and veggies, with fine food preparation and good service. Veggies are developed on the adjacent little farm, without chemicals and a lot of close interest to the tiny production which is offered in the restaurant plus some sold to clients. Service was helpful and attentive. We received a visit of the farm by the kindly Carrot, who's among the restaurant staff. It is a very great restaurant that's growing food the proper way and serving fantastic meals to its clientele. Certainly worth your time and effort to get right here and revel in a quiet dinner while searching to the drinking water and sky.

We stayed at Shangri-La rasa ria and got the resort taxi to Eco Farm 80 MYR (£15) come back and the driver waits when you eat. In all honesty the Eco Farm was average and that has been about any of it. The seafood needs to be selected froma large screen board which claims the price and pounds in kilos that is a little bit weird rather than necessary and just a little complicated. The seafood are in tanks prepared to be selected and you need to choose all your other additional equipment such as for example veg and rice and beers before you also get near your desk......you are ill-informed of the costs of anything since there is no menus. Everything is after that delivered within a few minutes of you seated so that it all seems a little rushed. To be good the meals was nice and ready, we'd prawns and shell fish with rice and several big tiger beers with a cost tag of 230 MYR (£45) which seems a little pricey for the region and the non existent provider. There were plenty of staff hanging around but in addition to the person who kept topping upward our tiny small glasses with Tiger beer, not just one found the table to see if things were okay?, did we are in need of anything else, perform we wish more drinks or espresso or desert....nothing. We also visited see the sunset from Eco Farm, nevertheless, you cannot start to see the sunset from where you dine because two huts on stilts have already been built on the finish of the walkway that obscures any eyesight of sunlight going down if you don't leave your desk and visit the finish of the walkway which defeats the thing of wanting to view the sunset when you eat, besides in case you are residing at the Rasa Ria I question if you could defeat the sunset sights from there.... lesson discovered. Overall I'd say it’s not necessarily worth the visit if you don't are passing, I’m certain you can find other restaurants near by which have better service and so are more affordable for exactly the same quality seafood.

My children and I had among the most severe meals ever experienced inside this eating place - despite our high expectations upon arrival because the setting was wonderful. We were shortly to be dissatisfied beyond belief by the incredibly poor quality of the meals served -overcooked seafood and seafood. Furthermore it had been shockingly expensive!!

If you're a tourist or non Sabahan, they'll personally take one to their seafood tanks to recommend the expensive seafood and you can find no cost tag.... only once you pay out at the counter, you then will noticed that you been cheated... Stayaway.......otherwise, ask just how much before ordering each and every seafood items..
