The neighborhood fried Hokkien Mee is good, with fresh shrimp, cabbage and items of flavoursome fried pork lard. The braised fish mind dish is also great. The Mee Soto will be light and delicious but I have a tendency to like those that tend to be more intense and rich :-)

In main street Tawau. Chinesse cafe, open up for breakfast and lunch time Nasi Ayam is offered. Along many restaurants right here only 1 serves no pork. Location is thoroughly clean and slighty crammed tables and seat. Toilet will be clean. Front side and back of the cafe is open, great ventilation. Food and beverages are great and moderately priced.
