First-time checked into this restaurant. A genuine pleasurable surprised. The Nyonya meals are authentic and excellent . Hanga Hu curry ( stingray sour curry ) ( dimension L ) Jiu Hu char , nice potato leaf and Tau Fu Bak ( braised pork insoy sauce) , actually every dish is good . Taste and flavor are usually 8 out of 10 . Price is average. Be back for certain .

The area is clean and pleasant and parking across the Vantage was a piece of cake. As I was eating alone, only ordered a Soy sauce pork and kueh piety ( basically Ju Hu char in miniature pie helping). The meals tasted authentic and provide possibilities ofreturn appointments to use other dishes.

Enjoyed a light lunch time hereof rendang and ginger fish. Services was very indifferent however the meals made up for this. What I didn't like at all was both small dishes of nibbles, pickles/nuts, positioned on the desk unasked for, so assumed complimentary. Was billedRM 5.80 for them that i felt was the cheat, and cheap. Little bit expensive for what we ate with RM69.30 with two carbonated drinks.

We ordered 3 meals. Really small portion. The cost proved very high. Overvalued. Not worth going, not really value for money. Did not purchase the sambal and acar, but charged!

Came here about 14 days ago with 2 additional friends. We'd the set lunch time which had portions designed for 4 people. Foods taste was great & very genuine nyonya ; and the purchase price for the established lunch was fair at Rm 65 after discountedwith Fave. We in addition calked bubur cha cha - that was good. The cafe internal deco was quaint ; program was average. Main power of this place may be the good nyonya foods, and reasonable cost. Easy parking was furthermore an advantage point. The 3 folks had an extremely pleasant & memorable food in a cosy & quaint ambience. Am pleased to recommend this place.

My father loves nyonya foods and he's got been heading primarily to some other restaurant inside Straits Quay. I've seen Chef Nyonya facade several times and decided we ought to attempt it this time around. The restaurant atmosphere was nicely carried out up. Decorated by gorgeous tileson one part and stunning framed batik or songket prints on another. Many nice conventional tiffin carriers, teapots and security lanterns furthermore served as decoration. We ordered inche kebin (nyonya fried chicken), poultry curry kapitan, jiu hoo char, steamed lady fingertips with sambal belacan, 2 soups (hu pio thng, tu thor thng), and 2 desserts (pengat, bee kok moey). Some reviewers pointed out expensive prices that i politely disagree. Nonetheless it will be RIDICULOUS to cost RM1.50 for every glass of plain drinking water and RM2.90 for every tiny plate of appetizer (pickled veg, cucumber slices with sambal hey bee). It could have already been a 5-celebrity rating and considering the ridiculous costs for drinking water and appetizers (that they didn't state price in advance), I became popular 2 stars. RM1.50 charge for every plate of white rice is costly but still acceptable. However, not for the plain drinking water and tiny acts of appetizers. Everything aside, the nyonya meals is of quite higher standard specifically the inche kebin and poultry curry kapitan.
