A few days before Xmas we were exploring Jalan Burma in Pulau Tikus, the city centre outside Georgetown that's popular for excellent hawker-design food, when we discovered Li Er Cafe. The employees were extremely occupied packing appealing trays of nonya kueh*(cakes), I presume for Xmas parties since it was almost closing time. This is the Providing arm of the business enterprise in action. We bought a few of the nonya kueh to collect for a pre-Christmas deal with - plus they were delicious and attractive.
