After tested from melaka hotel and heading real estate, we wanted a location for lunch. Tangkak will be one hour travel from melaka which restaurant gets the highest rank in serach engines for chinese meals in website. We rang upward and reserved for lunch time. Upon arrival, the tableis prepared and foods is served in ten minutes. A thumbs up for the meals, its service and realistic price. Should come again !

(There are some places with almost exactly the same title but do take notice that restaurant was inside Tangkak city, Ledang, Johor. Restaurant title is uncommon with Shanghai spelt as Shan Ghai). This place was recommended by way of a friend, an area, and true enoughthe food was good. We'd steamed Patin seafood in soya sauce, that was perfectly done. The claypot lovely and sour poultry, supposedly their specific dish, was equally great. That evening, 19/09/2015, there wasn't significantly choice of more fresh vegetables. We had been suggested bitter gourd fried with eggs. Ended up being good as well. Another veg dish, ice berg lettuce, was just typical. I didn't attempt the stewed pork tummy slices(kao yok) though. It had been just as well oily but my buddies all love it. And pricing was acceptable.

We constantly dropped by Tangkak to hv an instant meal before or following Spore, coz it had been convenient. We like nyonya meals at Melaka, but discovered very hectic to show in Melaka city to consume and bad traffic furthermore. In Tangkak generally we wl goRestaurant Dong Fang near Jln Muar (before town area). Foods is quite tasty, especially the dark pepper crab and Singapore fried prawn noodles, kangkong with sambal belacan. it had been very delicious. Furthermore they served local espresso and great chinese tea, we are in need of some caffeine ;))) It simply happened our regular cafe will not opened on your day we dropped by, therefore we hv no selection and try this Shan Ghai Tang Eating place, the prices is quite reasonable and foods is good also. Nevertheless, our first choice continues to be Restaurant Dong Fang 😅

Cafe Shan Ghai Tang is really a popular wedding dinner function location for Tangkak people as all diners may sit inside on the floor floor without the need to climb any stairs. The menus are revolutionary and versatile. Food high quality and service may also be highly satisfactorywith reasonable prices overall.

Continued recommendation from testimonials. Was rather disappointed. No menu was offered inside this restaurant. Snobbish supervisor tried to recommend costly meals, gave a "shocked " encounter when asked about cost of dish before buying. Dishes are typical, given the price. There must be betterplaces around Tangkak. Would provide it a skip the next round.

Maybe it had been the later visit for supper, we (our band of 30 folks) arrived 8pm when dinner was nearly over. The assistant manager was attentive & did ask us if the fish was ok & cooked. However the Patin Fish really was fresh& didn't odor of mud. The initial dish of BitterGourd Soup was superior & palatable. But we reserve the very best for final, because our custom of Teochew dishes found some in the team eating porridge & it had been good as well.

We were in our in the past from Kuala Pilah to Singapore and made a decision to drop by this eating place at Tangkak for the dinner. The cafe provides two outlets on a single street bearing exactly the same title. One caters exclusively for the wedding few and theother for the ad-hoc customers. The restaurant was instead crowded whenever we arrived as much came here to celebrate Chinese New Year making use of their family members. However the restaurant manager were able to find us a clear table near the entry for the 6 folks. We were rather shocked when he handed us the menu. He informed us that there have been only 3 models of menu coming in at RM 698, RM 418 and RM 398. We had been shocked. Yes, it really is Chinese New Season but the pricing is quite exorbitant. Nevertheless, the eating place manager was fast to advise that people could cut the amount of meals in the menus. There were 7 meals in each menus but we are able to cut down to lessen cost. Therefore, we ordered the next dishes: (a) Steamed reddish snapper (b) Steamed bean curd with darkish sauce minced meat (c) Peppered pig tummy soup (d) Fried vegetables (e) Braised pork The red snapper was a significant big fresh one and was deliciously cooked. The bean curd has been soft and silky as the pig belly slices had been tender and smooth and the soup had been pepper very hot. The braised pork has been furthermore very tender and gentle. The vegetables were also nicely cooked. We furthermore ordered a large pot of xiang pian. Overall, the food had been sumptuous, The waitress and supervisor were quite courteous and program oriented. The supervisor was really apologetic and attempted to make us realize that the cost of the fish and meats are relatively costly during Chinese New Calendar year and therefore,it affected the entire price of the menus. We were charged RM 240 also to the Johorean Chinese who function in Singapore, the purchase price is rather reasonable. Most significant, the food were properly cooked and fresh. Assistance can be prompt and the laundry were served quite immediately. There is free wi-fi and a karaoke audio system for those who prefer to sing. There exists a small little photography part with a backdrop of Shanghai women in the 1920s.

Went set for lunch. Nice meals, nice inside decoration. A bowl of gentle, braised groundnuts was offered before our ordered foods arrived. Strongly suggested the braised ocean cucumbers with pig's leg and the Singapore styled fried mi hoon.
