Up within the highlands, the Lord's cafe is really a small cozy very first floor cafe that acts cheap and great scones with freshly made strawberry jam. We're discussing really cheap costs with nothing over RM5. There are furthermore a number of different drinks from fragrant teas, to a number of lassi, also to shakes and floats. A lot of people would suggest the teas as Cameron Highlands are recognized for them. The scones are lightly buttered, soft, and freshly baked with whip cream and strawberry jam at the medial side. In the event that you don't extravagant cones, the crepes aren't too bad either, or even try a slice of these lemon cheesecake with actual lemon bits within. As I stated before, the environment is quite cozy as the whole cafe may be the size of a flat, plus they use rattan chair. Can't get any kind of old college than that. Also, you can find huge home windows in the back which allows light to lighting and warm up the complete location amid the cooling atmosphere.

It started off being an innocent FB publishing: Does anyone understand where I could get decent scones within CH? A commenter recommended The Lord's Cafe; she stated the scones were among the best she has actually tasted. Since she herself is really a baker that makes amazing tasting cakes, I believed, I must test it out for! The cafe is simple enough to locate, since it is right over the major bus terminal in Cameron Highlands. It really is situated on the initial flooring, but you can simply check the menus from the massive billboard displayed downstairs. Although menu is the normal fare of pastries, sandwiches and tea, the costs were what obtained me. These were very reduced for a location so highly recommended. After we got in, it had been easy to understand how they keep carefully the cost down. Decor is simple but nice, with plenty of frames hanging from the wall space. We purchased the scones, strawberry jam and clotted lotion, of course, plus they really were amazing. Melts in the mouth area with the the ideal quantity of sweetness. I questioned whether I could purchase a jar of jam from their website and they mentioned their jams just lasts 3-4 times as no preservatives are usually added. Strawberries are usually locally sourced too. Make sure you stop by the next time a person're within Cameron Highlands!

Best Greatest scones ever and incredibly reasonably priced. I really believe .50 for homemade scone, nearby sourced jam, heavenly butter and dollops of lotion. The coffee was excellent too. The hashbrown was ok, but various texture than I was expecting (mushy/milky?) Employees are very nice and you also write your purchase on a bit of paper and hands in their mind. Would go back again for just two 2 scones the next time.
