What a spot to have an excellent lunch/diner in Tanah Rata ... Owner and his employees have become nice, available and knowing !! My wife is definitely vegetarian and the chef didn't hesitate to claim that we replace poultry by tofu (we did appreciate) Specific mentionfor Udon Soup ... delightful See you there Group !

We'd the Wagyu beef and salmon bowl. Both had been very good ready and tasted heavenly. It’s nice to view the chef get ready the dishes with plenty of passion on view kitchen.

Finally, right after two days searching we look for a place! Great foods, initially didn’t seem so excellent, however the food was incredible. Place don't have many tables, which will make sense because just two different people running the eating place, but it finished up in great experience!

We've just returned from the wonderful meal here. My hubby cannot stop raving concerning the Wagyu beef. The prawn goyoza had been delicious too. Most of us liked our foods and were so amazed by the chef who do everything by himself! Greatwork ethic reflected in the fantastic food!

While 'stranded' in Tanah Rata during MCO, we began to frequent KouGen once it opened again ... and we surely got to think it’s great! Very friendly provider and refreshing and delicately prepared meals and fair prices.

The gentleman that owned this place was a one man band, a complete hero, juggling serving and cooking easily. The food we'd was fresh and tasty. I recommend the beef rice bowl. Can't complain!

I first visited this cafe in 2018 and after my first meal, cannot believe it had been so peaceful...on two of my three appointments I was the only real customer. The foods is so fresh and you will see the treatment that switches into preparation, delicious!The dog owner is really a lovely person, appears to do all the food prep himself. Returning in 2020 I came across their restaurant seemed a lot more occupied....he had two different people waiting tables, his boy who was a brilliant friendly fellow and exactly the same female from my 2018 visits....daughter? This vacation I enjoyed a Poultry Dom one evening and Beef Dom another. Their Ice Tea will be home made with treatment and is great! Hoping they have were able to weather conditions the COVID storm and thrive in 2021!

Best Japanese meals Even though the service is quite long the wait will probably be worth it. The chef will be solely to waiter and prepare which is why the await food is quite long. But I nevertheless recommend it!!
