Our hotel receptionist recommended this place whenever we enquired about a great dim sum cafe. We visited it on a Sunday and discovered the place filled with locals - always an excellent indication. We had to hold back for a desk. A nice younger waiter sawus standing up and rapidly dragged a desk out from the direct sun lighting into a shady place and pulled up two seats for us. Then your procession of dum sums began, some typical, some rare plus some exquisite. Consider the photograph with this particular review and you may see why. We had been in Taiping for three nights and breakfasted in Lai Yun two times in a row after finding the restaurant. The next day was a Mon and we went earlier once we had to generate back again to Kuala Lumpur. However, we'd to select from the menus this time around as it was prematurily .. The restaurant will be open up from 7 AM to 12:30 PM. This is our favourite location for breakfast each and every time we visit Taiping.

The meals portion is small and nothing special. The prices is similar to KL. After settling my expenses, we walked out towards my vehicle. The cashier emerged screaming accusing that I haven't settle my costs. They later discovered they offered me the wrong expenses tosettle. The waitress produced a mistake. There have been only 2 some other tables during my visit, which too can trigger a mistake?!?! Like lousy and untactful customer support would earn you zero star from me. Actually I'd discourage anyone from patronizing this establishment.

Delicious and appetizing, great service 🙈 it had been hot due to the warm weather 😭 but everything was alright! 🙈 Different and various kind of dim sum you could find! Insufficient paus though 😦 Attempt the liu sa bao! 🐣

Environment is good, foods is okay only, but cost is costly. My brother recommend me personally to here as this individual heard is really a famous dim sum eating place in Taiping. I can state it is sell atmosphere more then your food quality.

Dim Sum was very regular here. While some meals like their Char Siew Bao and Lo Mai Kai had been quite great, others like their porridge and fried carrot cakes had been simply average. Some were very poor, like their Siew Mai (which didn't appear tohave any prawn fillings). Price wasn't really cheap too. For approximately the same price, I could find much better Dim Sum outlets in KL. Overall, not the very best Dim Sum I've experienced but just sufficient to fulfill any Dim Sum cravings as long as you're visiting Taiping. A significant note for non-Chinese loudspeakers: menus is all in Chinese, so ordering may be a challenge here!

We have a number of dim Sim here, the right (lol Bak ko/fried turnip cake) cheong enjoyable. others are typical (fried bean curd /foo chook) don t expect KL or Ipoh regular that i m benchmarking as Taiping is really a relative small town.

Good value for the money for the product quality. Fried carrot cake, duck natural soup and Sang Mian are usually commendable. Cost is about RM20/pax. Most likely greatest breakfast dim sum invest Taiping.

A good place to possess dim sum in Taiping. The Char Siew Pau has been perfectly. Siew Mai too. Personnel spoke English too, simply had to wait a little for ur food since it arrived hot. Awesome!

The restaurant is big enough to support lots of people(around 10-15 tables) and clean. All of the cost of dim sum possess stated on the menus (I love this because some dim sum cafe they go self-explanatory with the dim sum for you and you also pickwithout knowing the purchase price). I love their "lo bok gao", tasty (deep fry before crust is crispy) as the "chee cheong enjoyable" is indeed so limited to me. Overally, the purchase price and dim sum and solutions is good. Should come again.
