Mr. Goh's fried Koay Teow (rice noodle) is situated on the next floor food courtroom of the Plaza Perbandaran stall No. 22. That is most likely the cleanest, brightest, roomiest and airiest food courtroom in Taiping. The best place for delicious and cheap hawkers' food items anddrinks. Mr. Goh utilized fresh ingredients, live life cockles, crunchy beansprouts, chives, shrimps, eggs and gentle clean noodles. He fried each purchase separately to master fragrant goodness. He and his spouse generally worked as a group, but with this day soon after Chinese New Yr he was functioning solo but with great cheers and friendliness.

You will find these stalls in the Taiping Casual Marketplace. It really is by the medial side of the older bas station or infront of the Taiping Supermarket. It had been famous in the 7-80's. I believe this is the just koay teow stall where in fact the cook siton a little stool and fries the koay teow. You cant think it is in any section of malaysia. Through the generations the sons took over from the moms and dads but still maintaining exactly the same design. but taste isn't as what it was previously. but it will probably be worth trying.

A very important factor about Taiping that various other state don't have is the special taste of the meals , especially "Yong Tau Fu", Cendul , Mee Udang and Fried Koay Teow ! Go right now there and sample it, after that you'll understand how good it really is :-)

Order with more cockles and further spicy to find the best experience. Great flavour, much better than the majority of the Char Kuay Teow you obtain from KL along with other cities. (Uncertain about Penang)
