Situated directly over the market place and the in-the-progress Thean Hou temple. It could look darkish and dingy. We attained 10am on a Saturday and appeared like almost all stalls were closed currently. But, some were nevertheless operating. We were able to purchase tomato sauce noodles whichwas AWESOME. We purchased tofu that was FABULOUS. Tofu has been smooth and silky. We furthermore ordered wantan noodles that have been great. We wished to try more foods but tummies surrendered!

We have there been Sunday -Tuesday. A lot of those "tourist store" only open through the weekend break. We were well alert to that, initially we found the choice had been minimum, but later on we were pleased that people enjoy our meals at the hawker middle, the placewhere locals will consume, and gather around. It must be far better and cheaper evaluate to "Tourist Restaurant" :) We tried almost anything in the Hawker Center, Laksa, Fried Kuay Teow, Drinks, and few other people (there's just eh... around 6-7 stalls in the hawker center)

Second visit which time I were able to catch the Sunday Marketplace filled with life! I arrived at Sungai Lembing at around 9AM (from Kuala Lumpur) and timing has been just perfect. All foods stalls on the market was continuing. People were everywhere. Visitors were taking pleasure in themselves. And I, has been overjoyed with the meals! I got eventually to eat their popular San Sui Tofu to my heart's content. Furthermore ate tomato sauce noodles and Cantonese fried noodles. Experienced "pau" and "siew pau". Bought the best coconut biscuits. Lovely beautiful Sungai Lembing.

We travelled from Kuala Lumpur about Sunday and reached SL at 9.00 am. The favorite meals in the Hawker Center was sold out. Therefore, we had to consume whatever they nevertheless had. There is the Sunday Morning Marketplace just beyond your Hawker Center. Lesson learntis that people have to go there earlier. The meals is quite OK. On the next day, after hiking up the Panorama Hill, we came down at 7.45 am, wishing to obtain additional choice of food. To your dismay, numerous stalls were shut on Mondays.

We were found at 5:30am from our hotel inside Sungai Lembing to be on the 4WD visit through the jungle to the Rainbow Waterfall, first however we were taken up to the neighborhood Sungai Lembing Hawker Center for breakfast. The area was really busling withboth locals and specifically tourists who have been also likely to the Rainbow Waterfall in 4WDs. The atmospehere was incredible, in a decidly chaotic sort of way. There have been numerous, mainly Chinese, stalls serving fantastic noodle dishes, enabling you to choose your personal ingredients and forms of noodle, there have been overflow stalls selling deliceous Dim Sums, asean glutonous sweets, fruits and plenty of other styles of local food. There is a good stall which had big slabs of right from the stove Chinese crispy pork stomach (Siu Yuk) that was cut up into bite dimension pieces before your eyes. An excellent experience, and seriously inexpensive !! But you do have to go earlier (the Siu Yuk sold-out in minutes, again before our eyes !!!).

The noodle was nice and cheap. Only $5 for a generous bowl. This appears to be their signature noodle since it was suggested by the local.
