This restaurant is indeed easily shadowed by the brighter and much more crowded yong tau foo corner restaurant close to it. But believe me, it's really worth examining it out. Ordered the stir-fried, dry design bak kut teh, and I must confess, it's savoury (and also much better than the ori soup-centered one)! So be ready for a second rice helping. The soup too isn't poor, on the sweeter finish, yet, not really losing its organic aroma. If you're choosing this, request not investing in the yau char kwai parts -- the crispy Chinese crullers -- in to the mix. Why, because it isn't crispy at all.
