It is a place where all they sell one of the most endearing eats from Taiping town, a sleepy little haven nestled in the foothills of Maxwell Hill, north of Peninsula Malaysia. Many from Taiping check out this modest small eatery when they are usually homesickfor some Taiping flavours. Boasting quite a thorough menu, they serve a significant selection of noodles and western foods, tea time snacks, drinks and a variety of nearby soupy and iced blended desserts. I had their in history bestseller, Poultry Noodle Soup with a generous dollop of homemade sambal and Dark Sugar, a good ice blended dessert much like ice kacang. For the Poultry Noodle Soup, there is a range of noodles to pick from, but a genuine Taipingite will select Koay Teow, a rice noodle that's thin and toned. The Koay Teow here's clean and springy to the final bite, doesn't leave a distressing sourish aftertaste, and doesn't create the soup murky white-colored if one requires too long to complete it, but that isn't gonna take place because this soup will be flavourful, very clear and sweet and something Will need to have it with some sambal, as this chilli paste provides the dish to a complete different degree of enjoyment. My younger children had Seafood & Chips. I will not comment about the flavor because I didn't check it out, but the batter appeared crispy and portions generous. Probably the most interesting component was that it had been served with a somewhat spicy gravy, like the Hainanese Poultry Chop! My children didn't enjoy the gravy but I believe others might! A worthy highlight will be their desserts. We attempted 2 iced blended desserts, Cendol and Black Glucose. The flavours of the fragrant coconut milk and Gula Melala shone through, and I particularly just like the simple mixture of the aforementioned 2 flavours with creamed corn and roasted peanuts. The cendol unfortunately may be the kind that freezes in touch with ice, a sign that an excessive amount of flour was added, therefore, not the best. We furthermore tried their Dark Glutinous Rice Porridge and Peanut soup, both great to the final drop. Rest assured, we are back.
