I had walked previous iku many times and browsed their screen menu beyond your restaurant, creating a mental remember that I'd arrive by one day. 1 day a colleague recommended we meet for supper to discuss work issues I took the chance to possess it at iku. Two birds with one rock. The sypnosis of the evaluation is that the services was so ridiculous poor I canceled all my orders and we still left disappointed. What happened? Directly after we produced our orders by creating the menus numbers on the purchase list a la older town kopitiam design, the waiter returned and stated they ran out of salmon. Who operates out of salmon in a Japanese eating place? At 8pm? So we'd to reorder my part. I made a decision to order an array of nigiri and gunkan sushi, since no salmon intended that nearly had the menus was unavailable. My co-workers food emerged, and I waited for mine. And waited. And waited. All of the tables all around us including a big pax of 8-9 who arrived afterwards all received their foods but mine in no way came. After inquiring the waiter TWICE to be sure of my order, he lastly came around and mentioned my order will undoubtedly be here in 5mins. It had been already just passed 9pm, after nearly 45-50mins of waiting. Said waiter have not also left my desk when another waiter emerged by with my purchase list and said, the majority of the products I ordered had been unavailable. It had taken them 45mins to inform me they are not able to work as a Japanese cafe. I was at that time so hungry I inquired to cancel everything and please bring the expenses. That itself required two attempts prior to the waiter finally was included with the costs. My colleague obtained a 15% discount (uncertain if because of their service fiasco) which just amounted to RM2. Wah! So insincere! Plus they nevertheless charged us for the green tea! THAT I anticipated them to waive thinking of their degree of eff up! Alas, alas.
