A somewhat late evaluation. Went there as several 20 people comprising mainly adults with several children - we ate right here shortly after the next Penang Bridge was available to the general public. We drove a pleasure ride on the 2nd Pg bridge ,ate here & drove back to Pg island. The meals was good and atmosphere was different since it had been floating on a big seafood pond. What spoilt it a little was the truth that we had to hold back a long time for our meals to reach. There were way too many clients there that evening. Nevertheless - foods was tasty and resided around the shop's reputation.

First, it isn't on the Island. The floating seafood paradise can be found beside the angling village jetty of Bukit Tambun region, Simpang Ampat. From the Jawi Toll, it requires approx 10 mins to arrive here. Seafood here's - FRESH!!!! Because they farmingthe sea drinking water fishes here too. Ambient - feels as though to nature or village lifestyle. Great variety - my view may be the chef is very able and skilful for regional taste. Their samba will be spicy. For Europeans, it is best to order strong fried than steam meals. Afraid you men can’t consider the freshness taste. Price - depends upon the sort of seafood and cost is listed.

Came here with several friends, ordered 8 meals and went home complete and satisfied. Ordered the sting ray prepared in Assam sauce that was super clean and huge because of its portion. (medium) Additional dishes ordered were incredible as well. Feel absolve to askfor suggestions from the services staffs and they're going to be more than pleased to let you know. Prices were definitely good for the quantity of food we ate. The location is really a bit rustic but sufficient for a floating restaurant. Definitely worthy of the try to the drive in!

During Chinese New Yr, we, small loved ones, went there to possess dinner before visited Aspen gallery and Style Village. Cheater shop😡 I never thought it'll eventually me as I'm careful and can clarify things in information first. Along the way back again to Penang, I googled for Tambun seafood and discovered this floating the one that looks nice. Whenever we get to there, theirmenu don't have any price therefore i ask why your menus don't state price plus they answered me, yes our menus even while never have price. Since I like crab, I clarify very first before ordering. I inquired how much can be your crab per kg and the lady (Owner's daughter) explained our cost for crab will be rm90/kg and consist around 2 crab. I informed her I just need 1 crab because I'm the only real person taking in the crab and she stated ok. Before I finish eating, my hubby settle the bill without letting me check very first and I saw the purchase price for for crab alone is rm90 therefore i went and confirmed with the girl, just now u explained rm90/kg 2 crab? And she answered me yes. THEREFORE I demonstrated her the expenses and requested her why u cost me rm90 for just one crab? Even though the crab is huge you will be charged rm50 to rm60/crab? And do you know what she answered me? She mentioned oh, our crab here's rm150/kg one. I said what on earth, u explained rm90/kg and I simply ask and u verified again rm90/kg. Today I present u the costs u changed phrases and said rm150/kg? She after that ah...ah...and do not learn how to answer me then go aside pretending considering HP. Therefore, I'm formally pursuing this case with CAP and can ensure this restaurant get yourself a fine a lot more than what they cheated me. It isn't about the extra cash but if you are likely to run a small business, please be sincere. And it's not just a misunderstanding or miscommunication but downright cheating. And to increase. They send us dish cook in other flavour so when we feedback they react angrily. Uncertain if the area is run by nearby thug. The operator just wants positive opinions but respond in angry way if they received negative responses. Forget about for us.
