My watch, the Westerner. Evidently this restaurant is fairly old, my father within law said it had been right now there when he was growing upward ... he's 85. I actually didn't really enjoy the meals probably since it was nothing beats 'chinese meals' in the united kingdom. No crispychilli beef or lovely and sour poultry/pork. What was purchased on our behalf had been bean curd and mince pork soup, 2 plates of regional veg, duck and yam, and another yam factor, overcooked dried out as a bone poultry and extra ribs in some sort of sauce. Let's simply say the basic rice was nice. My husband's see, the Sibu bloke. He says the meals was average, affordability. Basic Foochow foods. The ambiance was genuine, good location for a family group gathering. Unfortunately for somebody who ate so very much he has little to state ... So he will need to have liked 80% of it. So for some it up. Favored by the locals, was occupied, service was pleasant good enough. Food as above. Didn't take any images, a plate of rice is boring.

Ask any kind of locals, they'll let you know they heard about this legendary restaurant, however, not many understands where it really is located or ever check it out before (especially younger generation) But also for the older era, dining here's like heading down the memory lane. Great oldfashion FooChow food. Food sensible, for me, it's standard Sibu FooChow (Hock Chu) Restaurant regular. But my parents believe the food isn't as great since it use to be. but a definite dish you should attempt may be the Hock Chu Mian - basically wet-fry noodle
