Sugar Rush would be absolutely detrimental to my health and fitness if live close by! We were in the area and had a serious hankering for some sugar, this is just the kind of place you want to indulge your sweet tooth with their luscious treats. They have the sort of cakes that makes obesity seem like a small price to pay. Lemon Poppyseed, Coffee Oreo Peanut Butter and Prune Crumble Layer Cake are the ones we decided on. Get 1, get 2....No ifs, no buts. Just try it. We could quite happily waste away an entire Sunday afternoon here because they have so many types and flavours!. Order and pay at counter. Cash only. Tip: Their interior and furnitures are in black, lots of mozzies indoors. Roll some repellant on. They are open from 3Pm on weekdays, 11Am on weekends.

Craving for cakes (especially the buttercream ones) at night but have no idea where to get them? Try out Sugar Rush at Section 16 Petaling Jaya. The dessert parlour serves an assortment of freshly baked cakes and sweet treats, beautifully displayed on a table runway. It opens till late, from 4pm-12am on weekdays and 11am-12am on Sat and Sun. So, don't worry, you can get your buttercream cake craving fixed even during late at night.

Cakes are dissatisfyingly dry, for a place that positions itself as a cake specialty haunt. Albeit having a wide selection, the cakes seem to just be changing colours and names with a consistent dryness that is observable.The only impressive thing was the ambience.
