Lunch doubtless a better option compared to dinner in that the cooking are fresher. Dinner I suspect is mostly warming up and serving the same cooking carried forward from lunch. Sri Pandi has to be the position for a satisfying banana leaf lunch, Service is also excellent (so far so excellent) and you get quite a excellent spread of Indian cooking and palaharam/Indian cakes/desserts.
