Even though I'm not a fan of frozen yogurt and waffle but I'll still have them, time to time. Yet, I prefer my frozen yogurt and waffle to be served separately. The hot waffle melted the frozen yogurt rapidly and causing the waffle wet and soft, which had makes the texture super disgusting. Therefore, I don't think this is a good invention.

I was passing by this place after enquiring and visiting INTI college. When we went into the Aboong we ordered the chocolate waffle with the white yogurt ice cream as well as some marshmallow with chocolate drizzle. We had to wait quite awhile to have the food served to us. We waited for about 20-30 minutes for the serving time in order for the food to be collected. The shop was empty when we entered thus we were the only customers that they were serving and i was pondering about the serving time. After collecting the aboong ice cream, i brought it over to my table to consume it and i find it quite irritating with such a design and shape that it has. So upon scooping the ice cream it tends to drip and fall over to our hand and then when it started melting, the bottom of the fish tail started to drip the ice cream liquid and we had to wipe our hands every 20-30 seconds and we found it to be quite annoying after a period of time. The ice cream is nice and the design is fun, but the design is in the way of people comfort to consume the food. I will not return until they have found a way to improve that part as i hate to have to meddle with my food. The taste is just normal and not worth the trouble of having such consuming problems.

Not price worthy for fish waffle if you do not have buy 1 free 1 voucher from maxis app. The staff made the wrong order. original frozen yogurt is quite sour, don't order if you cannot stand with sour food, mango is another option. Less choice than expected. The fish waffle has a hole....tried only for the first time, it won't attract me to consume for the 2nd time.

Great frozen yoghurt, very ordinary and not too sweet. The portion is huge and l really enjoy eating it. I tried their limited time only red velvet version but still prefer the original. It may take times to wait for the taiyaki to be done, but worth the wait.

I enjoyed their taiyaki - its crispy on the outside and very soft inside. However, i tried their biscoff taiyaki with cheese ice cream, which according to me, tasted nothing like cheese and it was a big no no. I probably have to try their other options

I have been wanting to go here for over a week and when i am finally here I became super excited. The waffle fish shaped is so CUTE! You can choose your filling and what's interesting is they are very generous with the fillings. The yoghurt is of course sour, but once you reached the fin (bottom part) you'll get to taste the sweetness of the nutella. Not to forget, the service is very warm and friendly. You might want to wait inside where they have air conditioner while your aboong is made. They use the numbering for queues.

Finally got to visit this cafe and tried their yoghurt ice cream during the weekend. The place is quite crowded, it's getting more crowded as the clock ticks in. I do find lots of aunties and families here which make the ambience family-friendly.Their ice cream and waffle taste nice and not overly sweet. Surprisingly the waffle itself is good and crunchy. And by the way, they also serve good cups of coffee and tea come in package with friendly waiters and waitress 😊

I always watch this kind of fish in Korean dramas that usually came in hot cake. Here, you can choose variety of fillings from red beans to ice cream. Maybe I prefer it hot since combination of hot and cold is not for me. Environment is insta-friendly and you'll have to wait your order based on number. A good place to enjoy with friends.

Aboong is a place where you can spend 10 minutes to chill while waiting for your "taiyaki du yaourt", pardon the French. You can either get their signature customizable fish-shaped cake with filling (aka taiyaki) or average quality coffee that you can found on most cafés. I recently tried their new mango frozen yoghurt with nutella taiyaki and for me it was a good experience. Mango and nutella definitely complements each other well. However, my good words are mostly because of the fact that it looked so beautiful on my camera. Just.. Look.. At.. The.. Picture!

Fish shaped cones. That's pretty much the simplest way to describe Bungeoppang. They're taking Instagram by storm and are quite the latest fad. Why on Earth should ice-cream be served in a fish shaped cone? I'll never know for the life of me. All I knew as soon as I saw it on Instagram was that I had to find it and I had to have it. It was on my list of goals when I set off for Malaysia last month, but I had no idea I would stumble across a place that sells these on my first day there, at a Cafe Aboong in SS15.M and I went out for dinner with his bff to Asia Cafe on Day 1 of our foodcation (a vacation taken solely with the intent of eating more than it is humanly possible to eat). We were aimlessly walking the alleys of Subang late at night, just having finished a fun board game at Meeples, and were pretty much on the verge of calling it a night when I suddenly saw this place and let out a joyous scream so loud that it must have woken a couple people up.I couldn't believe my luck! There was a big roll-up ad for their special, which as soon as I saw, I knew I need not even look at the rest of the menu. This bad boy promised for the soft, waffle-like cone to be made with Pandan flavored batter, and then stuffed with a dollop of Kaya, topped with frozen yogurt, Gula Melaka, roasted peanuts, and a skewer of bananas. Ded? Ded. It was pricey (for Malaysia), at RM.12.90, but who ever skimps on food? Not I. In case you're wondering, Pandan is a tropical plant and a very popular flavor in Malaysian sweets. It's also used for infusions in savory foods, and I personally love it. What I'm crazier about though, is Kaya. If there's one thing that's always synonymous with Malaysia in my head, its Kaya. Kaya is a rich, viscous, buttery spread made predominantly with eggs and coconut. What's most Malaysian though, is Gula Melaka. As (best) described by Google, Gula Melaka "is made by extracting the sap from the budding flower of a date, coconut or sago palm. The sap is boiled until it thickens, leaving a sticky sugar that is whipped and dropped in lumps on cellophane, or poured into containers, traditionally bamboo tubes, where it solidifies."The million dollar question: Did the Bungeoppang taste all that and more? Nah. But I'd still definitely recommend trying it once, if you get the chance, for the grammable picture, if nothing else.
