Simple menus offered all day long. They deliver to the swimming pool too. Reasonably costs and incredibly friendly service. In case you are residing in the Marriott this is actually the only eating place in the resort, which for two days is not an issue.

The Mulu Marriott is fairly isolated, so M Cafe can be your only choice for full-meal eating if staying here. Thankfully, the menu supplies a good selection of options, to enjoy in a covered back yard by the swimming pool or indoors in the primary lodge. The breakfast buffet can be excellent, supplying a great range of regional, Chinese and western cuisine.

Spent a short stick with my partner in this highly regarded hotel. Ate inside the M Cafe on the initial night and has been underwhelmed by the environment - the service has been attentive, but menus and food uninspired once we have got travelled and eaten throughout SEAsia. Wine list limited (very first selection of red wine had not been available) and, for me, expensive. My spouse tried the neighborhood fern leaf salad with lime, but she found it really sour. My ‘refreshing’ mushroom soup was extremely bland and tasted enjoy it originated from a packet. Mains were equally disappointing, with my strip lion beef overcooked, regardless of requesting moderate rare. My wife’s lamb cutlets were prepared to her moderate rare order, but pretty tasteless. Once again, the accompanying pepper sauce for the steak and mushroom sauce for the lamb tasted like these were from the packet mix. Which from the five-star hotel. Breakfast was Okay, but ate on the Tengaloh Cafe, just above the bridge from the holiday resort, the next evening and experienced much better food and better environment for the fraction of the purchase price. Most dishes include boiled rice, however the lemongrass poultry, pork with dark pepper sauce with the side purchase of finely lower runner coffee beans with egg (finely sliced omelette) and onions were extremely tasty. You can taste the fresh components used. I include this because previous testimonials have described that foodstuff to the Marriott needs to be flown in. Uncertain why this will compromise flavour. We also ordered an extra bowl of ginger chicken. Don’t be placed off by the essential exterior. We noted several vacationers - both those using nearby Homestay lodging and the Marriott - by using this cafe. We liked it so much we'd lunch there the very next day before leaving Mulu. Sorry, nothing at all to recommend M Cafe aside from being in the resort!
