I actually was at the resort attending a 1-day time seminar early Dec '12. Buffet lunch time has been at the Plantation Cafe. You can find two sections - air-conditioned and open air chairs. Their appetizer is fairly limited with only simple salad - lettuce, tomatoes and several vege. Mostof their major dishes on that time are spicy. It appears similar to Malaysian theme main meals. They have types of lamb, chicken, seafood fillet and combine vege / tofu. For my friends that not take spicy foods, not much choice they can select from. I've forgotten what's the soup of your day as it didn't may actually attract my focus on have a taste onto it. There is also few types of desserts which range from various flavours of puddings, small cakes, sweet soup and fresh local fruits (eg. drinking water melon, papaya & honey dew). The staff is fairly friendly. And they often come around to get filthy plates from our tables.

For the offerings of dining places as of this hotel, we really liked the food here. It did take age range to cook however they will need to have prepared it from scratch, very refreshing and tasty. A lot to chose from also it was great value.

The restaurant was very newly renovated and the ambience was excellent. Service was good. Foods really was well cooked or more to expectation.There is a pleasant free form pool outside the restaurant.Great food and amazing view. What more would you like!

We stayed here thus ate in the cafe whenever we arrived. We went to consume at other periods but none weighed against the food right here. The banquet will be amazing however the a la carte will be wonderful too. Strongly suggested.

We finished up here unintentionally and lower blood sugar levels forced our hands into feeding on at the hotels eating place. We really didn't have high anticipations, however the meals really was an impression bland...... Seriously sandakan!!! Provide me some spice!!! 20ish RM for a laksaand a comparable for a noodle dish. Very costly nonetheless it is convenient in case you are residing at the hotel. If you are simply stopping by I'd check out the English tea home instead.

This cafe serves both western & local style meals - most of average quality. It is possible to sit inside in the air-con or outside alongside the swimming pool. Outside is pleasurable with an awesome breeze blowing quite often but y oh likewise have toput up with smokers. We were going to during Ramadan & at night you can't have alcoholic beverages inside in the air-con - only outside!

The staff are friendly, food is fantastic, selection is international buffet. Didn't manage to attempt the ala carte result in only stay for just one night time. The croissant is excellent and pastries too.

If you don't desire to head into Sandakan, taking in at the resort is a good alternative. We ate right here twice. The second period it got a little noisy with a group celebrating a birthday celebration. Overall the atmosphere is OK.

Located inside the Sabah Resort complex this cafe offers a good collection of food intended for breakfast - each Asian and western. Inside is definitely air-conditioned or it is possible to sit outside close to the pool area. Be aware the cafe is Halal therefore no alcoholic beverages is served insideif you're here for supper. You can have a glass or two when dining outside.
