It is a must-go place whenever I've out of town visitors. This restaurant markets seafood as new as possible get, you choose which you would desire to see on your own plate correct on the location! Their price is realistic. Personally, i liketheir mud crab dish. In the event that you call them in advance, they might even last their sashimi shrimp. Their two signature meals is tofu-seafood mix (strong fried) and butter poultry (fried with butter gravy). An excellent spot to meet new close friends with hospitable program. You understand it's good once the place is filled up with locals!

That is my TOP favourite seafood restaurant in Sandakan. Their cost is quite reasonable. You can select the fish you prefer and the crab you prefer fresh from their cooking area. I really like their 'gam heong' crab (somewhat spicy), garlic fried rice and garlic steam shell(cantonese known as it as 'sa bak'). You may even bring your own seafood and let them make for you personally at a charge. Though the restaurant isn't air-conditioned, however they are windy as near sea. As soon as you start to flavor the meals, the environment isn't important as their foods are really tasty!! NOTE : You should create a reservations on weekends and open public holidays because they always have plenty of customers.

Regional food hall style straight down on water - turn still left at the huge prawn! Fantastic Mantis Prawn accomplished inside oil and salt and wonderful fresh clams inside garlic and ginger. All used live life from the tanks and prepared fresh and before you inno time! Nice service - all on a great price. Peferred this to Sea King up the street.

Located in Tanah Merah within Shek Tsui, on the water with the fisherman's village. Boisterous and full; some items sold-out but beer available. Great standard Chinese design seafood cooking at fair price. Recent addition will be lobster yee meen (once again ala Hong Kong design) butat reduced cost. Prawn yee meen less expensive.

Nearby chinese people eat right here and you also won't see several tourists. A cab trip from the center of town, it really is about 4 km. There's an area known as Bandar Nam Tung and fishing boats for sale are moored alongside. Difficult to find but taxi driver shouldknow. All fresh seafood, additional choices also available. Value, great quality, all clean. Speak English ok. Among the best in town.

In the event that you eat a one simply invest Sandakan then this will be it!! Fantastic seafood, so when the owner will let you know with a grin, no foreigner surcharge, you pay out what the locals pay out. The salt and pepper crab is merely delicious, we askedthe proprietor how it had been cooked and he simply smiled!! I assume its a family group secret!! Its a taxi trip out of city but only about ten minutes and just next to the main mosque, search for the Guinness and Carlsberg indication you then know its right location. Set next to the edge of the street. No menu, simply ask whats available and away you set off, a few of the freshest and best seafood i've ever endured the pleasure of taking in. Also, the night time we visited tropical rainstorm and couldn't get yourself a taxi so the proprietor had his boy give us a lifestyle back into town to your Hotel. Excellent people, excellent food, excellent simple unpretentious location, and most likely the best food you'll consume in Borneo!!!! Don't miss it"!!!!

Only a tip for travellers. This eating place isn't open at lunchtime. The area isn't quite inviting and is really a long way from the cab rank.

The shop was no more operation because of the owner made a decision to call it each day as it's no more safe to use a seaside restaurant in Sandakan.

A trip to Sepilok should be along with a dinner as of this restaurant. That one is open just from 5.30pm to 10.30pm. Challenging to select a dish as each is as delicious because the other. Individually I liked steamed reddish colored snapper the most.
