Though there have been good testimonials of the Sarawak Laksa served in Restoran Mei Sek, it didn’t kindle my tastebuds - nothing spectacular. It had been pricey at RM8.00 per bowl (25 July 2020) probably due to the two prawns lying along with the noodle.The coffee served by Restoran Mei Sek was commendable - sufficiently “kaw” (thick), not too sweet sufficient reason for the right bitterness. It had been similar in flavor to the one offered at the nearby restaurant named Yong Sheng restaurant - may be the same supplier.
