Just typical tourist dining, absolutely nothing to cause you to remember it. They offered krupuk once you arrive, it price RM3 & additionally you pay for wet cells. We didn't consume krupuk or use cells but since we didn't know, covered everything. My advise will be toask them to eliminate whatever you don't want. It's across the road, with the view of ocean & extremely breezy. They will have 2nd Flr eating area. Some parking area available correct inside at the entry of resto. We discover that local food areas in JB more worthy. It had been an extended drive from SG however the distance will not justify the product quality & choices of meals. It's just OK foods, nothing at all to rave about. On a part note KUKUP now could be more populated & more developed than say 9/10 yrs ago whenever we used to frequent it even more.

We always eat as of this restaurant when we move kukup as this is actually the only place with car parking of their vicinity. Otherwise you have to park across the road which may be quite harmful as you can find constantly big trucks likely to the jetty doingloading/unloading. Foods is fresh especially the seafood. Not as well ex (RM8-RM10 per 100gm). Crayfish is most beneficial but the last period we went the dimension was a little small. Band of 7pax,we ordered crayfish, seabass, horfun, infant squid, thai style poultry, 3 crabs total price us around RM500. In addition they sell their sambal chilli close to the cashier counter. Ideal! Its essential buy for chilli enthusiasts!

Enjoyed our supper for 3 at Higher King throughout a Sat excursion to Kukup. Acquired their speciality tamarind/assam seafood (RM$8.5/100g), pepper salt prawns (RM$11/100g), salted egg squid (RM$8), and chilli belachan kang kong (RM$8). Seafood was the locally captured Tong Kang which tasted greatand experienced a savoury lovely and sour sauce. Prawns had been very refreshing and succulent. Squid has been excellent - tender rather than over-cooked. Didn't desire to over-order therefore was amazed at the tiny portion, nonetheless it was significantly less than S$3! Food was excellent and cheap and location has a great look at of the ocean and sunset. I study a few of the other testimonials, felt that some ratings were unfairly lower since it sounded just like the reviewers got high expectations since they made the hr plus commute to Kukup from Singapore for the meals there only (that i wouldn't recommend for just about any food). We ordered steamed ocean bass, chili crabs, fried squids, butter fried shrimps and kailan with salted seafood. The ocean bass tasted amazingly refreshing and delicious. Therefore was other meals. The Chinese tea offered was also fresh.

We came here directly after we visited Tanjung Piai National Recreation area. The seafood is quite fresh. Cooking design was also delicious. The restaurant is situated at the jetty and fishing village.

We'd ordered Steamed Prawn, Vegie and Poultry. The prawn flavor like river prawn and the oversteamed also it obtained little too dry. The harm also same price as downtown area so that it helps make no sense to visit there limited to seafood.

There are several seafood restaurants around Kukup jetty area. Because of our short stay, we've chosen Great King as a selection restaurant because the rating when compared to other restaurants is really a little bit increased. We have purchased, salted egg prawn, chilli crabs,sambal lala and more (please make reference to the images attached). Overall, I sensed that the meals is great and the purchase price is reasonable. I'll revisit High King once again if I eventually visit again.

Had our first food arranged by our vacation resort upon achieving Kukup. Place appears like is looking for renovation or instead the reno had not been completed or happening. Food had been forgettable. Those we ate at holiday resort and made by the proprietors were really muchbetter. Happy it was the best meal we'd in kukup.
