This can be a place that has been a family group favorite. It's semi fine dining style with a cosy environment and well-lit with modern furnishings. Situated in the upcoming business center of Oasis Damansara, this place was empty whenever we arrived for supper one Saturday night. We reckon they cater mostly for the busy office lunch crowd and will get pretty quiet during the night. But don't judge this place by just how many customers they will have because I am letting you know, the food rocks !! Pantrie serves international western cuisine, namely dishes contain Italian, French, German, American influences. We'd the opportunity to sample a number of dishes from several visits to the restaurant and they're always consistent with the grade of their food. Using one occasion, we'd the beetroot, orange, feta and pine nuts salad that was a refreshing begin to the meal. Do try the escargots aswell, they're drenched in a butter cheese sauce that is soo good sopped up with bread. It's shelled escargots baked with spinach and smothered with mozarella and bread crumbs, so sinful yet delicious! For fish lovers, do order the Crispy skin salmon or the Pan seared cod. Both are equally cooked to perfection and tender served with lightly grilled vegetables. The no 1 dish at Pantrie should be their Crispy Fragrant Duck, which should be pre ordered so be sure you do so when coming up with your reservation. It will come in half duck portion, boneless with crispy skin. It's something similar to the chinese version of pei pa duck but just a little less crispy. If you're not into an excessive amount of duck, you can test the aglio olio pasta tossed with spicy duck. I doubt it's the same one but it's still flavorful and al dente. Meat fans can order the roasted rack of lamb that comes under RM 60, and believe me, additionally it is well cooked with the marinade and served with a generous part of potatoes and asparagus. In the event that you still have space for dessert, the chocolate lava cake is crucial! Or the apple strudel that comes warm and served with ice cream. Perfect end to a satisfying meal! 5 thumbs up!
