Close up taste of Kuching Gu Bak Mee. Somewhat on the salty aspect. Noodle texture is great. Chilies assistance like those in Kuching.

Overall the environment, drink and food are fine. Just their food part is considered a bit small, where they are able to slightly best up a little on it.

This is just one more variation of the neighborhood Beef Noodle - that one from the “Property of the White Rajahs”. That is section of a ”chain” therefore i am normally guarded. (These non-proprietor operated outlets could have laid down a SoP but just how much ofit will be practiced is debatable minus the owner-enforcer present. Like may be the nature of the meals business). I ordered the superior “Marble Meltique Beef Noodles” (RM24!) - the fancy name doesn’t make an impression on me. What will “Meltique” actually mean?! It’s said to be thinly sliced well-marbled Australian tenderloin, why move Français? Pretentious! The bowl arrives searching below par - the darkish coloured bowl does small to showcase this content. I can’t also see the costly beef I covered (3/10). I actually sip the soup. It’s not hot more than enough. The taste is large on aromatic spices and lighting on the meaty umami but it’s pretty good (6/10). But what I like is the usage of kolo noodles. It could be be uniquely determined with Sarawakian Laksa but flexible sufficiently for BN. It had been certainly properly cooked but nonetheless al dente (7/10). Apart from the tenderloin, another beef cuts were relatively dried out and chewy. Didn’t enjoy it that much. Furthermore the onsen egg wasn’t runny inside. Even though shop looked quite packed during lunch time, I can’t state I was very amazed. It lacked soul and tasted as well formulaic. My score 5/10.
