Compared to the close by Meng Kee Bat Kut Teh, I believe Heng Kee isn't better. Personally, i sensed that the pork from Meng Kee had been more tender and gentle than Heng Kee. In the meantime, the soup, Heng Kee has been much less salty. Heng Kee will be spacious, and continually crowded. I never believe a bat kut teh could be so crowded! But, I really like their service. They're good and polite also they're so busy. If they saw clients waiting, they'll approach and help find chair. (*Note that some dining places will simply ignore you*). We had been expecting to wait an extended period since it was super very very crowded! And we noticed plenty of customers were nevertheless waiting theirs whenever we we walking in to the restaurant. Amazingly, we only waited a quarter-hour! A very important factor I don't acknowledge Heng Kee had been they cost RM1 for additional plate of soup. What? I'm a Bat Kut Teh soup lover, everytime I'll order extra bowlssssssss~ I'm not sure just how much per bowl however the price was inexpensive. However, I still would rather have got Meng Kee Bat Kut Teh~

Almost everyone who involves PJ Old City for Bak Kut Teh would arrived at this restaurant. Their company is located at a large part lot house and car parking will be horrible here. Generally you will be parking streets apart and you will have to walk a considerable ways. So is it well worth all the trouble merely to eat this Bak Kut Teh? It depends. Yes since they do still offer top quality food. No since they have been very arrogant and began charging if you require additional soup topping. Ridiculous I state, so most of my buddies have boycott this wall plug and went for others round the PJ Old Town region too.

I've been likely to Heng Kee's so long as We remember. My dad usually informed us how this is the place he got our mum for his or her first date, very much to her chagrin. But on weekdays at the very least, things certainly are a bit quieter. The soup is merely among the best I've tasted, salty however addictive. We normally purchase the tender meat parts, although if we're experiencing naughty, we'd purchase the pork stomach. Tender parts have significantly more meat however the pork tummy is sweeter. We furthermore never neglect to order a plate of Yar Char Kway, which when soaked in soup for a couple seconds, becomes soft therefore so tasty. There is also other meals like enoki mushrooms and pork liver. But given that they don't have menus there, it's best merely to ask what they will have.
