Restoran D'Tomyam is really a popular restaurant within the Damansara Perdana area and is normally busy especially during supper within the evenings. Stepping in you'll spot the thoroughly clean and neat plans of rectangular tables, this is a mid tier degree mamak restaurant. The beverages store is actually adorably decorated with a row of coconut husks lining the counter front side and lights on screen like a house entry. Their menu is fairly impressive with an enormous Thai influence. It really is wise to remember that they assist Malay foods from 7am to 5pm and Thai meals from 6pm to 3am that is great place to go out with close friends till past due and want some tasty Thai food as well. I got their Tom Yam Soup and a plate of rice for under RM10 and for beverages I had a cool lime fruit juice for RM1, that i feel is very inexpensive! The Tom Yam soup tasted genuine and similar to the one I acquired in Thailand - the proper stability of spiicyness and sourness. Another dishes there just like the Sotong and Nasi Goreng which I've attempted before we average.. Personally i think like their Tom Yam soup had been the best of most and a certainly must-try should anyone ever come here!

Full disclosure, We haven't been right here for two years so this evaluation is backdated to regarding 2009-2013. I am there a lot more than dozen moments during this period. I needed to desperately such as this location, there's something about tasty inexpensive tom yum that soothes an individual following a long and tough day's work. Occasionally the tom yum will be fine with an excellent balance of nice, sour, salty and thickness, sometimes it preferences like they use older ingredients still left in the fridge for weekly or more. It isn't they can't make good tom yum, regularity is a problem for them. I experienced the paprik several times here aswell, again sometimes nice, occasionally dreadful, don't actually go close to the paprik daging because the beef slices will provide you with a jaw ache with how overcooked they create the meat. When there is one conserving grace, it really is their lunchtime mixed rice, they will have lots of good options of great Malay cooking, the combined rice is the method to go as you can skirt their inconsistencies by selecting those that looked greatest and smelled greatest. Cleanliness isn't great, leading of the eating place looks okay but as soon as you step in to the toilet you'll realise cleanliness isn't near the top of the agenda. My suggestions? Go for lunch and also have the blended rice, avoid buying ala carte and you will enjoy your meal.
