This was previously our favourite Japanese cafe due to the freshness of the fish and the taste. This recent trip, we ordered our favourites, ie the grilled mackerel, spider sushi, salmon sashimi and a plate of tempura udon. The grilled fish continues to be good,the udon average as the salmon slices were very much thinner than before. The spider sushi that is actually smooth shell crab has been a disappointment. Crab had not been crispy but gentle and soggy. It had been quiet on the Saturday night. We had a negative stomach upset following this dinner.

Recommended by way of a friend so all of us tried it out. The meals didn't make me move wow, when i am nevertheless craving for aunthetic japanese meals and maybe they will have dropped their autheticity. I purchased Torikatsu Don, the flavor was very dissapointing, the fried poultry missthe wow factor. Probably they can enhance their high quality as their food aren't cheap either.

Spouse loved the Tau Foo dish and ate everything up clean. I got a claypot noodle - loved it almost till the finish. The wasabi was another thing, strong, pungent and really shoots up the nostril and clears them!!! Inexpensive meal for a family group
