It is a little restaurant in the Damansara Uptown area,which lies on the outer ring of shops. (exactly the same row as Maybank and BSN) That is unfortunately wii location for business specifically during the night. The crowds appear to be in the eateries inthe internal band which are jam loaded, whereas Bok Hong Yun is certainly quiet as few people appear to realise it's there! We love it because the food is yummy, and due to it's anonymity, making getting a parking space simple at night. (although following this review, perhaps it will not be therefore anonymous any longer!) Furthermore, from what we collected from our waiter, thru' the vocabulary barrier, the proprietors are planning to shift to another section of Uptown where it's even more 'alive' The origins are apparently a family group run poultry rice restaurant in Seremban, which includes uprooted and moved to the big city - our gain, luckily. The chicken is moist and tasty, however the highlights to us will be the rice, that is scrumptious (that is mostly of the restaurants where all 3 folks want our own dishes of rice, usually my daughter and I'll share one portion!,) and the sauces. The chilli sauce will be spicy and sour, and the ginger sauce will be wonderful, in case a little oily. We usually likewise have some of bean sprouts, that is crunchy and crispy. They have several other meals on the menu, but we haven't bothered trying other things on our visits, so can't touch upon them. The area is clean and the costs reasonable. The waiters (Myanmarese, I believe) are friendly, even though guy who dishes away the meal and chops the poultry for you personally looks sometimes as if he wishes we had been on the chopping block!
