This is among our favourite stops on the journey to/from Penang. Location is fantastic not definately not the toll plaza (so it is not a lengthy detour) and near by a petrol station (for refuelling the automobile after the household is refuelled with meals :-).Most important of most, the couple who work this location are friendly and the meals is great. And we enjoy it that little portions are, indeed, little so us of 2 grownups and 2 small children might have good variety rather than over-eat. With this latest trip, we'd a steamed Teochew design fish, house exclusive tofu, deep-fried squid and stir-fried choy tam (environment friendly veg). Including 2 cups of sugar-cane, the costs was only RM52! I hesitate to talk about, for fear us favourite can be over-popular, but, however, good owner-run dining places deserve to end up being popular ...

We ordered steamed mantis prawn. He stated there was only one 1 mantis prawn still left, so he suggested us to steam with as well as prawns which he mentioned was just rm 26. Once the bill, came, it had been rm 57 for that dish only. He saidthe mantis prawn can be by weight n a little miserable one price rm 31???!!!. If it had been a massive one, we have been willing to purchase that price, but that one barely has meat. We sat around for just a little longer n the desk beside, family for 4, who order bowls of combination meats, seafood and veg, found lesser than rm 100. It is a location where they'll charge differently if you're not just a local there. That is day light robbery. Onetime n that's enough
