Chuan Tin Garden Cafe is really a classic throwback eating place still around in the end these years. Though the restaurant could be well past its prime, it’s legendary teochew style fried oyster omelette is stillgoing strong. Much better to eat in another of the 'chap fan' stores than to dine right here. Food is over-priced rather than tasty with all and the personnel is not helpful.

It is a restaurant which has probably been with us for a lot more than 30 years, although they will have shifted around several different addresses. Food high quality has dropped through the years. This is apparent from their declining clientele. My most recent visit in Dec 2017 was disappointing.Employees seemed disinterested, food has been distinctly substandard. Prices were sensible though. A lot of seats available also during mealtimes, that is proof their poor business. I will most likely not revisit again aside from nostalgic reasons. It had been mostly of the Chinese dining places in Muar where household dinners was previously held but with improving options at other restaurants, there's better meals to be enjoyed elsewhere.
