Four folks went for dinner. Initial impressions were great. Clean, nice decoration and attentive staff. First de-merit was zero alcohol. They advertise wines etc on the flyer. We were told these were halal now thus no alcohol. (No wines with my steak I assume).How do the big resort restos sell halal foods alongside alcohol? We ordered a beginner (it turned out an extended hungry day) Stuffed tomatoes that have been good. After that complimentary mushroom soup that was also good. there was an extended delay prior to the mains found its way to dribs & drabs. An average problem in miri. The diner who gets their meal first must eat it while hot or sit there looking at it since it gets cold while they await all diners meals. The fish & chips and mushroom chciken chop were declared excellent. The 2 2 folks who had tenderloin steak were set for a shock. It wasn't prepared in the centre.Just natural and icy cool. Nowhere close to the medium both of us ordered. A shame when i ate the cooked & hot bits also it was top quality beef and tasty. but nonetheless raw inside that i left. Rm130 meal for 4. Value taking into consideration the quality of the merchandise. If the management will get their chef to assist 4 foods simultaneously and work with a thermometer on the steaks they could have successful here. If not they may walk out business.
