We visited the 18th ground revolving cafe in the Meritz resort for the Valentines Candle Light Supper. As always you can find never enough spaces or even lifts to access the top flooring in due time.We attained 7pm because the start period wasanytime after 6.30pm. We'd booked and were seated promptly. Nevertheless we had to cover the meal before we were actually seated. I do nothing like that concept beacuse when there is any dispute they curently have your money. We received an The4 menu that promised 6 courses. The area was spacious and nice. The Air conditioning was inefficient and the area stuffy. I found the trunk of the A4 menus was handy for composing my notes about the meals & service when i had so enough time on my hands. 7pm seated. No candles present up for grabs. 7.15pm was out there first waiter encounter.Menus handed to us. 7.27pm Drinking water arrived. Food & beverages ordered. 7.36pm. The initial course arrived. Prawn apple company cocktail. OK 8.06pm A waiter asked if we'd received the initial course. 8.12pm Dish 2, Smoked Salmon wrap arrived for the each of us, closely accompanied by another 2 smoked salmon wraps. We declined the next helping. Again food Fine. 8.25pm Dish 3 arrived. Soup. Again Okay. 8.40pm Dish 4, Fresh squeezed orange juice with ice cream was delivered. Then 2 even more were brought five minutes later. Dreadful concept, flavor & service. 9.24pm the long awaited main food arrived. My steak had been medium rare not moderate as ordered but getting waited nearly one hour and a fifty percent for it I simply ate it. It had been Good. We finally still left at 9.55pm once we cannot be bothered to hold back for the dessert and I was completely fed up attempting to get one to serve me. During the 3 hrs spent occaisionally consuming and frequently looking for a waiter I observed one couple that arrived after us depart without ordering. They do wait quite a long time. I assume they didn't need to pay before entry. The couple up for grabs close to us got their major before the soup. On the plus part we were likely to get a glass of wine each with this dinner, but we got six each. I couldn't rectify the issue because I had currently paid, so when I left there is no-one at restaurant reception.
