Dinner in chilled temp and light rain has been improved by amazing poultry wings 🐔. Michael, specifically, offered us with excellence.

Tasteless food (prawns with lovely S), rough service, sometimes the green tea extract undrinkable, price double compared to the average inside city once and for all food. Hard to trust. Hope this can help other vacationers no to drop in the trap.

I'm from Peranakan & Nyonya descendance. Hence I've rather high expectations. With that said - I've tried several Peranakan & Nyonya dining places but this is among the most severe! We couldn’t even surface finish 1/4 of the meals. Definitely other dining places to explore

Siew Tin's Nyonya Cooking area delivers an excellent first impression, quite bright and clean inside, set in the original Nyonya-style house (like inside the Ghost New bride drama on Netflix). Had been a bit amazed at the price tag on the meals, but at that time, no some other Nyonyafood invest Jonker Street open at night, and of training course, the dog owner has to earn a living while renting in Jonker. Recommended dishes: Gula melaka fried chicken (RM30 for 6 people today). Crispy and properly served with sticky dark gula melaka and coconut flakes! Tofu with sambal: great egg tofu dish, want it had been bigger haha Asam pedas seafood tail: Fresh seafood, big enough for 6 folks to consume, with bendi Additional dishes: Chap chye was alright, could give it a miss. The wonderful waitress provided us pai tee for appetizers (really traditional food, difficult to find) and sago gula melaka dessert Overall: The positioning and ambience is great, but the administration should capitalize onto it with a few even more delicious signature dishes just like the Gula melaka fried poultry and asam pedas seafood, and perhaps slightly much larger portions for rice and vege meals (to appeal to the ravenous teenagers). It's as pricey because so many Nyonya food, therefore don't allow that deter you.

Enjoyed an balancing with my spouse on christmas. We each experienced a set menu exclusive and shared a jug of lime fruit juice. It had been tasty and genuine. And the sagu gula Melaka had been the very best we have tasted.
