I would never in Australia frequent a Uk or even Irish themed pub, they're tacky with mediocre beers and foods. We halted into Sids since it was really near our resort and the matter that turned us had been just how helpful and helpfulthe lads that operate the place are. Weekly in Melaka and we'd a few snack foods, beers and cocktails right here every second time, including one big program and the beer has been chilly, the snacks were great but the staff members excelled. A great location to get a cooling beverage overlooking the river. As provides been mentioned, no A/C but a lot of open home windows offering a cooling breeze. Food has been great and the service outstanding. Highly recommended.

We went here for a few drinks and snacks. Good place by the drinking water. Friendly employees. Ordered fries, part was huge! Considering the menu and eyeglasses etc. It appears like they our part of the Gravy Infant franchise, that is good quality food.

There exists a happy hour until 9pm once the bar is empty. It will get busy down the road with life songs playing in the backdrop. The stuff speaks excellent English and is quite competent. I would recommend the nachos for meals - tip best! The beer selectionis very limited, but they possess a varianty of cocktails (based on the menu).

Had lunch time here today and had been quite under whelmed. My partner obtained mushroom bruchetta which contains fine cut mushrooms in a whitened sauce on what appeared suspiciously like burger bun gently toasted and protected with grated parmisan. She finished up just eating the topping.Costly 3 tbs of mushroom. I had the seafood and chips which wasn't to bad in addition to the seafood being overcooked. Menus have become grubby and unhygienic searching. Would I return back? Maybe!

Was there the final night of the vacation. Wished we attempted them previous! We visited this pub also as the buddy of mine with whom I was going to Melaka is named Sid therefore he was looking towards make some image in this pub. We ordered a single sandwitch and the beer. The prices aren't verycheap however the location is quite wonderful.

So, there has been a franchise/name shift at Sid's! It really is now called 'Gravy Child'. It looks the same menus as Sid's but includes a different aesthetic. First of all, the positioning, decoration and selection of food is fantastic. The standard of foodis good as well (so much in order that we popped back for cake the very next day). My biggest gripe will be they pride themselves in incredible cocktails and pies but weren't serving alcoholic beverages while we have there been. Only a shame really. That has been my only main flaw (that and its own generally just a little pricey).

Sid's pub is owned by GravyBaby. Everytime whenever we visited, The headline of receipt is definitely Gravybaby for years. GravyBaby has totally bought out the restaurant. Forget about pork is offered. All sausage and bacon is certainly horrible substitution. Look like we need to we haveto come across new place for beverage now.
