It is a small scale home-cooked Hokkien style restaurant situated in Melaka Raya. Since it is a small scale eating place, only 5 tables, therefore reservation is preferred. Do be endurance as may be slower in comparison to usual restaurant, among the proprietor Mdm Carmen Wongis furthermore their cook. Foods are pretty flavor and properly presented. Hokkien cooking food, unlike Cantonese, is really a small lighter in taste however the dishes are tasty.

I was really impressed by the meals meals served by Chef Carmen Wong and the warm welcome by her sister Nancy who's the manager. Guy Yi will be on my set of "must visit" dining places when I'm in Malacca. Carmen will take great satisfaction andeffort in planning every signature dish which tastes incredibly delicious, which is coming from somebody who loves to make and enjoys good meals. I anticipate my next stop by at try her new tested recipes. I recommend Man Yi for you. You won't be disappointed!

Has been looking for a location for supper with the household, walking from Twice tree and discovered this little location.... But don't judge a publication by its include.... This little location pack a punch... Conventional dish that you discover during our parents time.... Also the placebrings you back again to memory lane.... We are able to only tried around 6-7 dishes in those days.... All good... Oh... Attempt the durian dessert.... 😃 We are back Man Yi.....

Had lunch also it was not the same as my regular clay pot noodles. The noodles and prawns (I believe it had been slightly fried) were steamed rather than the normal method of cooking whereby you'll be with burnt noodles at bottom of the clay pot.Tasty and yummy. Only thing to keep in mind is to order beforehand because it does take time to steam.

Usually I do not really give review instantly but this place differs. I can’t wait around to provide my honest evaluation. The support rendered by Carmen really was hospitable. She described the laundry to us, despite the fact that is just us. We purchased CurryPork Ribs, Golden Tofu and Veg (not in the menus). Each is really scrumptious. Despite devoid of a full menus, the dishes looked extremely pleasing! The purchase price is sensible for the appetising dinner! We will definitely keep coming back for even more during our next stop by at Malacca.
