Not long ago i travelled here to use their cendol and review it to the cendol that I've had in Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Kota Bharu. I cannot say I'm a specialist in cendol but I really do want to eat it when I could, eventhe "substitutes" I reunite in Perth. The cendol from No1. Kopitiam has been fabulous!!! I'm uncertain their exact mix however the addition of actual gula Melaka makes an impact. It's sweet and chilly, syrupy and delicious. I would recommend trying it. Greatest however it's located just above the bridge from the popular Dutch square and may be the first in "Jonker Road" (On the left).

Before finding this small gem, we tried chendol from the famous stall by the river and was quite dissapointed. The very following day we randomly stage into this empty small store and had very tasty chendol! I was discussing a bowl with my hubby (in the event it'll be as dissapointing because the some other stall) and he really explained to get my very own bowl after tasting it! This is one way chendol will be suppose to become - generous gula melaka with richness from the coconut milk! You may get other snack foods like egg tarts, dodol etc here FYI, after we started feeding on our chendol, numerous ppl came inside and the shop got abit crowded :)

There are way too many chendol shops within Jonker Walk but which deserves that limited space within your stomach? I tried 3 stores at a chance just to verify my memory and tastebuds and this shop happens Best! A humble bowl, butpacked with such intense gula melaka flavour we anticipate from a perfect plate of chendol. Don't follow blindly at stores which has a queue and deceived yourself that it is the very best. Try different stores before you select. Queuing does affect poor tastebuds on perceived taste.

Despite its name Kopi Tiam, in a reasonably simple place can be available numerous kinds of beverages. One of these can be Cendol. The cendol they provide is fairly tasty at a realistic price.

Specialist shop offering only 1 item - cendol. Since 1998. Ideal on ice shavings. Flavour therefore coconut milk wealthy and creamy, coupled with heavy gula Melaka - outstanding! Store near start of Jonker Road at the H&M finish. Just MYR4 per bowl.

You can get the very best cendol ever out of this place. The gula melaka is great, the red coffee beans are great, and the dog owner friendly.
