This shop gets the history of its origin & roots written on some products packaging. It is a simple shop, exactly like any common bakery or even confectionery. No fanciful decoration. You can see these items are increasingly being made & baked clean- the person at the backend of store was producing doughs of pre-baked items & trays of baked items can be seen. The packagings were beautiful & of top quality. Perfectly designed & provides nostalgic touch with their products. We bought 3 items: 1. Biscuit Tambun- pretty good but just a little hard. Certainly not as effective as Him Hieang brand name from Penang. 2. Lotus Biscuit - appears to be their signature item because the older auntie was marketing very hard. Price RM $3 per item. Expensive. Taste is average. 3. Crispy Walnut Cake - Each item is wrapped separately. Taste average & nothing exclusive. Overall, we'd say the merchandise we bought aren't bad, but we've tried better ones somewhere else in Malaysia. We don't see longer queues or even big crowds in the store although we were here or even passed by few periods during our stop by at Jonker Stroll. They claimed to become "Malacca Famous item ". Well, judge on your own.

Visited this shop to get souvenir back again to sg. The range there were excellent. Freshly baked tarts and great packaging.
