The Malacca’s outlet of Mamee Double Decker, Malaysia’s flagship brand name who exports his famous Mamee Monster's noodle cups around the globe. In the center of touristic Jonker Road, the older shophouse has been changed into a eating place serving traditional Malaysian favorites. The developing alsoincludes a museum along with other rooms focused on public activities like glass noodle producing and personalization. The place is fairly filled with grown-up Monster fans and their children during weekend and holidays, so we wisely had our lunch time in the cafe on a workday. Regardless of the ubiquitous merchandising and Television screens shooting branded movies, the shophouse has already been properly preserved and the decoration is usually taking advantage of the initial material and day light. It is clear, spacious and the huge kitchen is merely behind an extended glass window. We almost felt house, like invited by granny Mamee, which we presumed had been the original intention. Services was attentive and quick. Both specialties we purchased - Nasi Lemak and Hainanese Poultry Rice Ball - were great in many aspects: display, ingredient, consistence and flavor. The rice balls got a genuine traditional touch. Portion dimension were a little small though, specifically the tiny small drum stick to the rice balls. Cost was sensible and aircon was simply perfect. Well down!

This place is mix of shop, cafe, and workshop. To become listed on the workshop we have to buy at the very least 4 glass noodles (the empty one) and we're able to choose the taste and toppings for this. The youngsters could color the mug by themselves. In addition they haveshop that sells about Mamee snacks and its own variants. We discovered that the cost was a bit costly, compare to the Giant Supermarket, however the selections were complete. Overall, in the event that you bring kids and also have more time, we suggest one to visit this place.

Many tables were reserved for the tour team and we took the counter desk, not that people minded. But what actually irritated us has been that certain staff ushered us compared to that chair, awhile afterwards another male employees came over and informed us rudely to change2 seats left because they produced adjustment to the reserved chairs and there is 2 empty seats among us, the staff wished to get rid of the empty seats among. His approach had been rude and unfriendly, and that didn’t match us, normally we declined him. Mamee cafe should focus even more on staff training. On the bright side, the laundry we ordered were pleasantly tasty! Ordered Mamee Mee Goreng Mamak (RM10.80) which was included with 2 tender fragrant satay. Another Nasi Lemak Noodles (RM10.40) had wonderfully flavoured noodles which we felt tasty! The fried drumstick has been also crispy externally and moist inside! Recommend to order these 2 dishes!
