Hardly find a restaurant in Malacca offering such spacious and comfortable place ....Like a sit down elsewhere with slice associated with kaya toast or even nyonya kuey or even Malaysian hawker noodles or even nasi lemak (coconut rice covered along with banana leaf). Observing the group or readingnews papers ( observed there are all sort of news papers..) . Frequently you see regular clients( I am one of these:-) to possess breakfast or lunch time there. Listening to those 'apek ( uncles) shouting for 'kopi ooo kau kau ' s a norm, I assume this is the restaurant culture. Cool! Do not need to to help keep silent as in a higher /middle class cafe.. Recently the shop has extended with an outdoor view. Those trees , based on the owner, survived for a couple hundred year . there exists a 'Dotok Gong' out part as well...

Already been there with my children during the vacation and I liked my breakfast over there...the roti bakar(toast bread) was fantastic also it reminded me of the original roti bakar I used to consume within my childhood,it offered me a feeling of nostalgia. The duck meewas good either, among the nicest I've actually eaten...

This place is the greatest kopitiam ever!! encircled with so many selections of traditional foods with nice sellers. The coffee was served with traditional style ceramic cup tastes so tasty. I bet that has been the best milk espresso I've actually tasted. the hot toasted breadwith melted butter and kaya jam actually made my time. We also purchased duck mee, yam cake, hot horlicks beverage and packed one gentle wheat toasted breads for the journey. So many tasty food to flavor but limited stomache may take. too bad.. Wish we shall come back someday.

A vintage coffeeshop tucked at the corner of the primary road. Tried the duck mee, very ordinary. For me, Y* K** duck mee/rice back taste better. Kopi O is thick however, not fragrant. Maybe I'm not just a fan of Hainanese espresso. Kayaand butter toast is really a complete disappointment. Not merely the kaya will be of small portion, but it addittionally taste bland. There's absolute no pandan odor!

Visited the place a number of occasions when I'm down within Melaka and essential for me when i have have a liking to the original kopitiam design of the olden times after being bring in by a friend. With this visit I collect with myfamily and we appreciate our foods there, Nyonya kuih, kaya toast bread and fifty percent boiled kampong poultry eggs. Lately there's yet another stall selling grilled meals, and its excellent and reasonable cost at RM6 per fixed. They have grilled poultry taliwang and the pepes ikan which are suited to my taste, will certainly looks forward to presenting it once again on my next check out.

There a a significant huge selection of food served right here. But i love most may be the Mee Rebus and Lontong from the Indian stall. Fried Chicken stall furthermore serves good and delicious fried chicken. We'd our fried chicken loaded as our tummies had been filled. It had been still like fresh and crispy whenever we opened it one hour later. Pricing can be ok for Melaka regular. One can also prefer to get seated indoors where you discover the appeal of an olden times kopitiam. And on the outside it is possible to take your chair underneath a large saga tree that is very seldom seen this times. My children want to collect the scarlet saga seeds while looking forward to meals to be served. Only issue here's parking. You can find about 6 parking a lot (not too certain if it belongs to Heng Ann Temple) where we parked our vehicles. Otherwise you will need to recreation area by the roadside (there is a yellow line).

The duck noodle may be the local folks favourite. The duck noodle stall has been preparing the favourite breakfast bowls for nearly 50 years.

Crowded each morning and you have to await a table. typical restaurant with little if any thing to consider for cleanliness. We attempted the fried keow teow, curry mee, poultry rice and the nasi lemak bungkus. the nasi lemak has been great and the restbelow common. Not worth the wait around nor the trouble addressing this place. Nevertheless the coffee was excellent therefore was the toast.
