Although I rarely post on Thai food, I actually love Thai food a whole lot. I possibly could never get good enough of the Tom yum or som tam, plus other conventional Thai meals that strikes my fancy whenever I dine at Thai eating place. So that time, wewere on one-day vacation down South (Johor) and after finishing our function, we had to meet up our future companion in Melaka. He suggested this unassuming Thai cafe which he said suitable for his taste. Phrases that arrived from the mouth area of a skilled chef should be taken significantly. Thai songs was playing once we pushed the primary door open and standard Thai restaurant set up greeted us. Nothing at all fancy schmancy, just basic decor ◾Mookata - rather than spicy soup, this individual asked for plain 1 with all the current essential herbs inside of for the flavour. We blended the egg yolk with the meats and prepared in the soup, finally dipped the meat in to the sauce before consuming. ◾mix fried kailan with roasted pork tummy - gotta like this dish. ◾som tam - everything hits the proper spot with myself and the add-on of peanuts (some didn't give peanuts from all) gave the crunchy component another notch. ◾strong fried pork ribs with chilly sauce - it got me nibbling piece by piece... ◾Thai design steamed squid - prepared nicely and within timely way without that rubbery consistency (overcooked!) filled with the sourish and spicy soup... Nearly obtained me drinking everything or even for the Tom yum that emerged shortly. ◾kerabu kaki Ayam - a little sweet but simply no fault with the crunchy poultry feet skin. ◾Mix fried spicy pork - my minimum favourite dish of the night time. By all indicates it was great but overshadowed by some other excellent dishes. ◾Seafood tom yum - the proper consistency with regards to sweetness, sour and spiciness. Southern design Tom yum with generous quantity of seafood inside. All of the dishes were traditional, simple and unpretentious and I enjoy this. It's been a while because the last Thai food that satisfied me. In addition they sell Thai local product that isn't easily available anywhere.
