A pal of mine used to review at a college in Melaka. When I went on a short excursion, he was my apparent go-to local guideline. And we had an enjoyable experience going concerning the touristy areas...all except for the meals part. I was dissatisfied when he suggested to eat as of this place. This location is located by way of a very filthy river (may contemplate it as a swamp) and occasionally stink. I mentioned occasionally because my nose has been blocked that day. Picture if it wasn't blocked! They have several "fresh" seafood for you yourself to pick from. The operators of the place just converse in Malay. Devoid of any exercise in my Malay talking, I pushed my pal to order the laundry to talk about - another incorrect move. He purchased a seafood, fried squids and a bowl of greens. The seafood had been grilled and wasn't seasoned in all. The seafood stench was very good and without the pepper or spices to hide that awful flavor, I found it very hard for consumption. The greens were really old - its results in were yellow in color also it tasted as if they've not washed it thoroughly. As this is my final Melaka place before heading back again to the town, I felt just a little allow down understanding that this beautiful condition has a lot more to offer. I assume the only real plus side to the place can be that it's cheap. I would've flipped the table if it had been otherwise.
