Hainanese Poultry Rice (a Singapore dish invented by someone from Hainan, hence the title) could be rolled into balls. Do you know what this location alls its speciality? And servies it as a so-called delicacy at extra higher prices based on this advancement... Wow! AVOIDhere to check out the real heritage of Melaka - Nyonya/Peranakan food that is between the world's best cuisines..

Evidently the 'Kai Mei' or the chicken rear side part of the chicken is more costly compared to the Drum stick or any elements of the chicken. For RM17.50 will provide you with a bowl of rice with a back portion of the poultry, some cucumber,a saucer of chilly, and a Plate of plain dark bean soup. It's incredibly expensive in Melaka (for example anytime else) for a bowl of Hainanse poultry rice ! Quality is indeed so. Very dissatisfied that such shops can be found in a tourist town of Melaka!

The area is small with only few tables. Car parking is easy across the road. Poultry rice will come in dining models or it is possible to order for just one portion. Overall meals was ok. Cost is quite reasonable

Unlike the other sites nearer Bandar Hill/Jonker road (e.g. Ee Ji Ban), this place got a genuine "hawker" feel. It had been a little pricy because of its locale however, not overly higher. The chicken had been both tender and succulent needlessly to say ... won't survive in thisplace of competitors otherwise. We obtained the sauce by the medial side so we're able to rate the meats on its merits. The Dark Bean soup was savoury bordering on over salted, as was the cabbage. The drinks weren't exceptional and I'd conserve and go some place else for drinks.

Supposedly the son of just one hands down the 2 pioneers of authentic chicken rice balls within Melaka. You can order individual part or sets appropriately to your headcount. Our band of 6 proceeded to go for the RM60 set that was included with 1 whole poultry - half steamed& half roasted, rice balls, little serving of vege. Aspect order of these signature dark bean soup reaches RM5 per huge bowl, good enough for sharing among 2. The rice balls are usually obviously hand-made leading to their uneven sizes, rather than the perfect spheric form. The chilli & garlic condiments are usually roughly cut in chunky bits, best with the dark sauce. Overall, a good food, the rice balls had been flavourful & poultry moist & juicy.

It's been 3 1/2 years because the last period came here to consume. Same location. Ordered poultry rice (poached) and the dog owner upsell their dark bean soup. That's fine. For the poultry purchased 1/4 lower portion, which contain the chicken drumstick andthigh Also ordered normal plate of chicken rice rather than the chicken rice balls. The rice were wet and sticky. Price on the great side

Their chicken rice balls are fragrant and tasty - not mushy or overly grainy. The self-produced Chilli sauce hits the proper spot and goes well with the chicken and the rice. Steamed poultry tender & tasty

Came here for poultry rice ball, the flavor was ok, however the chilie sauce which for me personally has been the soul of any poultry rice was common. The employees that took our purchase recommended assam fish as well, later we discovered that it's slightly a large portionfor the two 2 folks. Th recommendation had not been accurate, probaby everybody else could be more particular during orders.
