Just such as having your house cooked meals without needing to wet your fingers !! Like the kaya butter toast and milk tea. For lunch time I always benefit from the mui choy pork n oily rice. It is possible to choose plain rice too as well as porridge togo with mui choy. My pal enjoys the poultry drumstick rice and insists that the drumstick arrives whole. She states it's succulent, tender n simply yummy.

Had our food at Hainan Old Road Cafe. Suggested by our driver. The meals was served was excellent. The poultry and the rice golf ball. And they possess this Mui Chye pork easily can remember, is wonderful as well. As I’m not just a Hainanese poultry lover,I have to say the poultry they cooked and offered is nice. Highly recommend in the event that you visit Malacca. Is crucial try.

We visited about a Sunday for brunch - convinced that we were earlier, about 1030am - also it was packed! An excellent sign since empty dining places are dicey....we got a table for the party of 4 rapidly, with the menus being distributedswiftly. We realised later on that swiftness of services must be among their USPs! To purchase, select your menu products and compose it on the document provided at your desk. The menu products are decent with regards to variety, so they're centered on a amount of good stuff without over-doing the options. We'd the signature fried pork with rice, poultry with rice balls, porridge with braised pork and the pork with preserved vege in a steamed bun. The signature fried pork was super smooth and tasty, albeit instead oily; the steamed whitened chicken was very good although I'd have desired the rice balls to become less gentle; the porridge had been tasty even alone as it got a hint of ginger; it had been offered with the braised pork and a hard-boiled egg - combine the pork with gravy and egg in to the porridge. The pork with preserved vege (mui choy kaw yoke) in a steamed bun has been my fav. We afterwards had their Hainanese espresso which was very good too - strong however, not overpowering without underlying sourness that i find in Starbucks espresso which I dislike and can make me nauseous. Overall an excellent meal with actually attentive, helpful service. Worthy of another visit!

Good family-run food such as chicken rice ball, selection of chicken and pork 1 dish foods, toast, etc. Near Tong Hup, exact same row as Notre Dame church. Good pricing and tasty! 😋

In order to steer clear of the long que around,at another location for Melaka famous poultry rice golf ball, you should attempt this place. The shop is roomy and incredibly less hectic. You can find parking lots right while watching shop. Tried the steam chickenrice and the chicken is merely sublimely tender and gentle. However, there's this lacking mashed ginger accompaniment that you'll generally find offered with this particular Hainanese dish. Maybe it's just their edition of this however the chicken rice nevertheless tasted amazing with the chilli. The braised pork rice can be tender and incredibly tasty albeit a wee bit salty however the white rice stability it up nicely. Drinks are usually generous in proportions too. IT's ideal for brunch too as possible discover the traditional hainan toast loaf of bread here too.

Visited this restaurant in order to avoid the crowds around centre. The steamed poultry was perfectly cooked associated with soup with sensible flavours. The rice balls had been infused with poultry stock and tasted wonderful, served being an excellent accompaniment. This is the very best Hainanese chickenrice I've tasted. Staff and web host were very friendly. I'd strongly recommend a trip.

This was an organization trip of 15 visitors to Melaka, and Hainan Cooking area was our first stop for lunch time. I coordinated this reservation with the dog owner, Ms Irene, who's a pleasure to cope with right from the start, with her kindness and endurance. Sheprovided us with the menus and pricing in order that we could provide her our orders beforehand. Whenever we arrived, Irene and her loved ones had laid the desk for all of us and their attentive support made us experience welcome. The servings of the juicy steamed poultry, adorably cute small rice balls, and the delectable braised mei cai pork paus had been quite generous. The rice balls usually do not taste exactly like the rice that's served in Singapore; possibly because it will be infused with some herbal treatments/spices, but a dash of chilli and ginger with some poultry shreds should ensure it is enjoyable. This restaurant is quite apt for families, couples, friends and any group gatherings. Many thanks Irene and to your loved ones for the great service, and desire to see you again. :-)

A great choice for Melaka native dinner in a cosy surrounding. The spicy chili condiment had been a lovely addition. Poultry has been tender and juicy. Will be better if your kitchen ventilation improved.
