We loved the Nonya dumplings and returned to get 10 more to create home. Still really moist and tasty following a couple of days of refrigeration. We discovered the chendol a tad as well sweet for the liking though. The girl boss is fairly gruff butwas nice good enough to provide me another plastic handbag when I questioned for one. She furthermore required the initiative to range it with newspapers therefore my valuable dumplings don’t poke a hole thru and fallout..will definitely stop by for more easily return to Melaka!

This cafe specialise in homemade Nyonya Glutinous Rice Dumplings @ Nyonya Chang with other local takeaway snacks such as for example pineapple tarts, Gula Melaka @ Brown Glucose from Malacca plus some other local bakes shown neatly on the shelves. We tried their Durian Chendol, nothing at all toshout about except is really a worthy bowl on the hot day.

I called 12noon each day previous to ask if there’s any share before heading lower. The auntie had been fierce and rude and commented why we known as last second. We didn’t know have to call previously. She mentioned can only just order for the very next day after12pm. They cost rm$7 per item. We ordered 15 parts. Quite arrogant whenever we said we causing Melaka the very next day can we buy each morning, the vendor said we can simply depart if we can’t ensure it is or can’t wait. These were rude because they think these were quite famous. Very costly also and occasionally they charge rm$10, sometimes rm $9 occasionally rm $7 no set price they simply anyhow name the purchase price by considering the tourist. You can find other authentic sellers in accordance with my get driver. My get driver said they purchased from regional seller which markets to residents at a cheaper cost. U simply need to ask the neighborhood people around. Not so fantastic also the flavor too peppery. Maybe mass order therefore the seasoning wasn’t as constant so when good as before

The cendol is actually nice. Better than typical. The bak-chang is Alright. Not bad. Not really crowded at all. Superior to Jonker 88. I can't stand waiting and being within an overly crowded location. So, we went right here instead of the rest of the popularised place.

Been consuming their nonya zhang (7RM) for past yrs! The rice portion isn't sticky n most delicious. The minced pork will be spiced nicely, wonderful!! This trip, were able to sit down and speak to lady owner. So pleasant n she convinced me to use theirBak-Zhang..., OMG! It’s great!!! It had been not warmed, however the rice portion is indeed nicely spiced (5-spice) so when consumed with the pork tummy piece (very little, ~2-3pcs), it’s heavenly 🤤! The girl proprietor proudly pronounced that she utilizes only the best elements to get the very best result. And has been unsuccessfully obtaining me to use her dried-oyster-dumpling. Too poor my aversion to the ingredient was a great deal to try, despite her declare that this dried oyster isn't fishy-like. FYI, the bak-zhang is 10RM (worth for $ for the wealthy fillings) and the dried-oyster bak zhang is 12RM. Dare u to use!

I highly usually do not recommend anybody to go to them. The proprietor the female boss is incredibly rude and uncivilised. That is my first time going to them since i had been a foreigner but i has been badly dealt with by the feminine boss. I purchased 5 + 5dumpling from her and 2 packet of gula melaka. She in fact speak ill of various other make of gula melaka that i delivered from so when im making her shop she cease me and explained never to tell the large brand whatever she explained. She also ask her girl to take image of me incase the huge brand sue her therefore she can sue me. Just what a uneducated and rude boss from the store. I told her when there is a civil situation, we can head to court anytime. We are able to see whose attorney is better at combating lawsuit. She market her dumpling at RM 10 at like expensive price aswell. Never ever obtain them. I had been their first-time customer and when she can treat clients such as this, she can deal with any new customers such as this. Extremely poor customer support, rude and uncivilised providers from them. Won't recommend anybody to get or go to them at all.

Among the best Nyonya dumpling I've tried. We purchased a dumpling to use but couldn’t consume on a single day so we held it in fridge. The very next day, the dumpling was nevertheless moist, fragrant, generous quantity of meats fillings. Deserved 4 superstars forit (saw the testimonials on scary proprietor, but fortunate us, didn’t counter her). We returned to obtain additional as gifts following day. Used their chendol but think it is ok only, too lovely for me personally (3star maybe?).

Found the rice of the nyonya dumpling a lot more evenly cooked compared to the Hokkien dumplng. The chendol has been a welcome dessert to awesome oneself down with on a popular, muggy afternoon.
