Actually enjoyed this place! Cosy set up family run location. Assam fish really was great, shrimp paste omelette excellent. Only locals have there been, good sign!

We've been visiting this cafe when head to Malacca. It acts really yummy nyonya meals especially poultry ponteh, kangkong belacan and dessert chendol. It is a family company and we discovered the price is quite reasonable for this type of good quality food. It is a mustto go to this eating place when you are searching for authentic nyonya foods in Malacca.

Lousy food in the event that you equate to other restaurant. Have to share table aswell. Go and attempt Baba Charlie because of their lunch however, not their springtime rolls and pohpiah.

We enjoyed the original Nyonya dishes specifically the Chengdol and beef rendang. We have there been at 1 plus pm on a Fri. Had to hold back some 15-20 mins. Food service was just a little slow. However, we enjoyed the meals and prices were affordable.. Noticedthere was another well-known Nyonya restaurant over the street that had an extremely long queue.

Went there on the Sat night (around 8pm) also it has been crowded. Had to hold back for awhile before a desk was available. It had been definitely worth the wait around. The Nyonya meals were authentic and great. My favourite had been the sotong lemak, and I'd recommendthat. Food arrived quite quick and the staff constantly served with a grin. I didn't understand the eating place closes at 8.30pm and there have been still several customers inside of. Throughout, the staff in no way chased anybody out, that was commendable service.

Tasty homecooked Nyonya foods. Loved the squid masak lemak probably the most. This cafe is easy and humble. Gotta return back for more!

The meals we ordered tasted good. But, the assistance and atmosphere in this little and modest cafe was cool and unfriendly. Employees seem unwilling to meet up customer's need. They directed us to a table right close to the entry. We asked for another tableand obtained a glum encounter and the silent therapy. We were earlier and there have been no other customers. We asked for the beverage to end up being heated up since it was lukewarm. We had been told it can not be done as the restaurant doesn't have a microwave. Therefore, we requested for beverage to become reheated over a stove rather. That has been met with silent opposition. Therefore we asked for one glass of hot drinking water to combine into our beverage, therefore our beverage is hotter. That has been delivered to us, however they weren't embarrassed to cost for the warm water...small amount, in fact it is not the amount of money but that underscores the indegent staff attitude. Throughout our meal, we felt the cold unfriendly atmosphere in this eating place. You would believe with business usually down, owners would attempt harder to please clients. Not here, for certain. Pity... we shall never return to this unpleasant location where you are feeling the staff just wants one to eat, pay out up and leave.

All dishes prepared to order. Beef rendang has been very tasty however the meat was a little hard. Chendol was the very best we'd in Malacca. Small eating place, just 6 tables. We have there been after 2pm therefore no group. Note they near at 3pm and dinneronly 6-8pm.

Had lunch as of this restaurant at 2pm without booking (Mon). Parking is really a little bit of challenge. Restaurant is little with just 6 tables. Recommend the Asam Fish and Kari Kapitan. Their cendol is among the best I've tried before. Sensible price aswell. A great choice for Nyonya cruisine.

Excellent food and helpful service. Must attempt the area but go earlier or anticipate to queue as they just possess 6 tables. I cherished the Nonya flavours.
