The Chicken Rice Balls are overrated. The restaurant is hot, dirty, unpleasant. Long queues, rather than worthwhile. Nothing special concerning this place

Love the chicken rice however the size gets smaller every time we visit. They will have the very best chicken rice chili around. Their service was fast, plus they usually sold-out by 12:30pm. Anticipate to wait and queue across the road, beneath the sun. Therefore, I would suggest bringing an umbrella.

Was surprised there’s no queue on a public holiday. Probably because of amount of rice ball it is possible to order with each chicken

The quality of the meals has dropped. The rice balls were cold and bland, and the chicken was more bones than meat.

📍Chop Chung Wah 中华茶室海南鸡饭, Jonker Street @ Melaka My first-time ever trying Melaka's famous Chicken Rice Ball. We waited in the sweltering sun for pretty much an hour simply for this! With over twenty years of experience, this shop had industrious vibes. Patrons were throngingin and out quite constantly. The Chicken Rice Balls had a gingery rich taste, that was really palatable and nice. The chicken served was also prepared well. Overall, it had been a nice experience, something I'm glad I've done and dusted. I'm not the largest fan of chicken rice generally anyway, Our visit to Melaka for just two 2 nights was greater than a month ago, prior to the floods as of this very moment. Wishing the Melaka folks safety amid these trying moments.

Wished to introduce chicken rice balls to the youngsters. This is among the oldest restaurants around Jonker Street. Parking offered by RM3 per entry opposite Casa del Rio hotel at a large open air carpark. Maneuvering the kids to walk along a singlelane road without pedestrian sidewalk was daunting. Overall Personally i think the rice balls were very soft and cold and I favor normal hot piping chicken rice. If you want to use it for the novelty then be early as there is absolutely no queues at 10-11am. Bill was about RM80 for 1 chicken, 7 plates of rice balls and 5 drinks.

The chicken was quite average. My first-time trying chicken rice balls, conclusion is I favor grainy chicken rice, to the that's mushed and shaped into balls. Portion wasn’t big but we didn’t finish the meals. We got there around 11:20am on a Saturdayand stood in line for over around 30 minutes. Not worth another visit.
