The first and the final. Went right here for a small business lunch for reasons of recce for the next business trip with co-workers for an organization training. Wished to show our co-workers from outside Malaysia and non-Malaccans how excellent Peranakan food ought to be. A colleague usedto regular this place years back again and he too has been shocked at the indegent quality of the area now. We chosen only 3 meals, ayam pongteh, udang masak lemak and sambal bendi. Frankly, just the bendi was good. The pongteh was regular, bland in fact. The prawns weren't fresh and bland aswell. The prawns were furthermore watery and the pineapples weren't fresh. The service really was slow even though we had been the only desk to be offered out of a complete of 3 tables also it had been during peak lunch hr on a Saturday. For just two 2 mains and 1 veggie, it costed us rm84. Horribly overpriced, gradual service and also poorer quality of foods. The restaurant possibly survives by fooling 1st time clients. Our first-time here for supper. We ordered the strong fried seafood with fermented coffee beans paste, salted vege with duck soup, pineapples & prawns in coconut milk curry & prawns omelette. Meals tasted alright. Staffs were efficient. Sufficient of parking space before theshoplot. Overall, no problems but nothing at all to brag about either. Only a decent option to those crowded touristy dining places.

The restaurant serves nice and authentic Malaccan Nyonya dish. The Assam steam is usually nice and clean, while their omelette and otah meals are tasted great aswell. The chendol are usually tasted very good as well; worthy of a try.

We have been disappointed by way of a few well-known but definitely over-rated nyonya dining places in Melaka but Bibik Neo was definitely an excellent see as recommended by neighborhood friends to us. Found this restaurant for lunch time with this extended family and employees was helpfulin getting a big table thus all 15 may sit together. We purchase many of the identified nyonya dishes and we'd this enjoyable meal that people didn't had at all whenever we patronized another over-ranked nyonya cafe near Hatten Hotel 2 days back. Food here's slightly saltish but in any other case, the taste was outstanding and portion was best for the already sensible price. Overall, we'd more about 13 meals (all big part) plus various chinese tea + beverages " chendol desserts = RM$470. Overall, it is a very authentic nyonya eating place with great flavor and good service!

We felt sad to learn a few of the negative testimonials posted concerning this cafe. I frequented this location since my kids were young in the past in the 1990s. The meals then was really great. But to be reasonable to them their company was affected becausethe street leading to the eating place was closed for near 2 years. Therefore, if you don't certainly are a Malaccan you wouldn't find out about producing a detour to obtain there. So, if company is bad can you stock up plenty of meals? It might head to waste. Last 30 days I went there once again following a lapse of almost per year. The food really was good. Excellent food, great service and reasonable cost. Give them the opportunity. Go and check it out and you may know.

We reached at 11am also it was empty. Properly the food works out to great with wide types of nyonya style foods to choose from. However, not certain why this location was presented with a 3 superstars in other internet review. Price is affordable.

We ordered total 4 dishes for band of 4 folks at around 2.15pm when their last call reaches 3pm. The fried fish with sambal that offered appears presentable when it offered. One part of the seafood was protected with sambal so when wefinished one aspect, we turned another side and realize it's been ingested, they re-routine and refried after that served to us. Whenever we complaint, the waiter couldn’t explain more and he mentioned will waive off this seafood!!! Light rice that served had been totally cold, dried out and burnt rice (brownish in color since it is certainly from underneath of the rice cooker), other meals (kangkung sambal, cincaluk egg and taufu) had been all so so just, all bad display. Will certainly won’t return back!!

We came for the place lunch. Having tried numerous nyonya style meals & cookings right here, we believed the taste is actually a bit even more stronger. It had been really too slight in spice, taste & even more. Just the chendol with coconut glucose tasted good today. Canbe improved. Shed to Nyonya Suan inside spicy taste & style.
