Good food - pleasurable ambience - from the maddening crowds upon Jonker Street. The grilled prawns had been out preferred - done perfectly but still juicy to bite into.

Have a short coastal generate out of Malacca, moving through rustic malay kampongs, and you will find Bert's backyard in just a little lane dealing with the lagoon. A vintage colonial home greets you upon arrival, choose your seafood from their chiller, purchase how to you need itdone - grilled, fried, baked, whatever. Then purchase a beer from their pub watching the sunset when you dine al fresco. Ideal island-vibes, a good getaway from the chaos of Malacca. Food was good, however, not the best you will find in Malacca. I'd click here for the ambience, a good relaxing way to meet up with your travel buddies.

Was at Bert's Backyard for supper with my companion. The restaurant can be found next to the ocean also it was breath using during the night. Food was excellent and service was great. Liked the ambience and the beer backyard.
