We were told during our trip of the resort that Straits & Co just serves snack foods and afternoon tea, when Planters, the primary hotel eating place, is closed between lunch time and supper. I had a past due "snack" here, at 2.30pm, but provided the part and quality,it had been really lunch. It had been nasi goreng at an impressive 65 ringgit but was included with all of the bells and whistles- sambal prawns, fried tumeric poultry wing, satay and seafood in the nasi. Large portion, really tasty and incredibly filling. Therefore yes, it's "international" prices but at least you're getting quality and amount. And service too. Personnel service at the resort is simply exemplary.

Our final day in Langkawi therefore we opted to possess our lunch here within our holiday package. Must state we loved it immensely, way more compared to the high tea ( furthermore nice but husband not really that keen on sweets). Started with the mangosalad and the Thai beef salad because entrees. The food portion sizes were therefore big I mistook them for primary courses. Usually I don’t consume beef but after 3 several weeks away from Aus made the decision to give it a try. Quite tender and flavoursome. Next came the real mains. Vego noodles and a Nasi lemak which includes the loveliest flavour and consistency. It was associated with 2 huge spicy grilled prawns, a beef and a poultry satay and a crispy poultry wing. Huge serving - experienced dreadful wasting so very much but it may have fed 2-3 individuals. Compliments to the chef. Among the nicest foods we’ve had. Unfortunately we'd to deny the offer you of a fruit platter once we were so full. Danna you have gone us an excellent impression for the final meal prior to heading on the extended flight home. Many thanks to all or any the staff who've contributed to producing our holiday so fantastic. You each possess fulfilled your functions with an agreeable smile and probably the most courteous. We had a pleasant high tea at Straits and Co overlooking the swimming pool. Also at exactly the same location we enjoyed a pleasant lunch.

We had the delicious afternoon tea here although it was raining outdoors - was an ideal afternoon. The meals and staff were incredible!

Having lunch time here with close friends. Local food was tasty and the staff quite friendly. Nice see and privacy... Sense so good

We had a past due afternoon tea/ early supper here during our keep at The Danna. We attempted the drink which experienced glowing blue pea flower, jasmine plus some additional bits and bobs that was refreshing. For foods we'd the mee bandung, seafood curry, noodle soupand nasi goreng. All were designed to a decent regular and portions had been generous too. Not quite the typical we expect from speciality dining places but for a resort, we were satisfied. Costs were fairly higher as you'd expect for a 5 star hotel. No complaints about provider and staff.

We were residing at The Danna Resort for a family group holiday. This is the venue for the daily lunch. The cafe had comfy sitting sections interior and outside seating at the front end, with sights to the swimming pool and ocean. We'd local Asean meals forour lunch meals including the beef rendang and nasi goreng, food meals was very tasty. We wanted to possess their banana fritters for dessert, which looked extremely tempting with the fillings that is included with it, but had not been available the few periods we had lunch right here because there is no bananas designed for your day, the afternoon tea servings appeared very tempting as well but we never surely got to check it out. An excellent venue to dine right here with sights of the surroundings.

Had hi-tea here also it was a classic great experience .. The meals was good.. Like the sandwiches, sweets and scones with homemade jam.... The service was furthermore impeccable

We've high tea here., have to enhance on the program and the menus . We were educated that espresso and tea will be free flow beneath the arranged , but another personnel said no . And rather than dairy cakes , possibly some comfortable savorylike curry puff could be put into the menu .
